Joso's was an enjoyable experience. An intimate yet eclectic setting and wonderful dishes. My wife especially enjoyed the dover sole. Rather than ordering separate side dishes we would have preferred sides included with out mains. As example the only way to order spaghetti as a side is to order it as another main. The cost gets up there.

The grilled octopus and Pasta Leonardo with seafood including shrimp and octopus in a lovely olive oil, lemon and garlic sauce were outstanding! Food, service and ambiance always 5 star experience.

Remains the best seafood restaurant in Toronto. Fresh fish is brought to your table on a tray and explained so you can make the right choice. You pay for whole fish simply and expertly grilled without any presentation pretensions. A real value. Risotto Nero (squid ink) is the best risotto I have tasted, locally and internationally. Service is exemplary, even when busy.

Spectacular meal and evening! It was wonderful to be warmly greeted again by Paul, Joso's very gracious host. We all said, why has it been this long since we dined here? Well, it won't be next time. Simply delicious!

I have been there a number of times. One of my favourite dishes is their Sciliana pasta which is on the menu as a Primi. They brought it to us at the same time as our entrée. These were not complementary dishes. For a fine dining restaurant (with an appropriate price point), this is unacceptable. We didn't enjoy eating the two together. I don't know why I should be expected to instruct the waiter regarding how to serve the food.

Sui generis: one of a kind! Took my girlfriend for a birthday dinner. I’ve been eating at Joso’s for forty years; her first time. We were both delighted. We loved the ubiquitous explicit art- some folks might be challenged

While the service was amazing, the food was just okay, especially for the price, considering it is Croatian cuisine which is usually amazing. However, the Croatian wine suggested by the waiter was just outstanding. The ambiance is great as well, I would definitely go back if only for the wine.

A bit pricey but the food was delicious, the atmosphere and look was full of history, the server went into incredible detail on the fresh seafood they had and the service was quick, I would absolutely go there again

As usual, our evening at Joso’s was excellent. The food—tomato and buffala salad and mixed seafood salad, followed by one of the special grilled whole fishes and grilled octopus mains, with the crepes for dessert—was outstanding, all perfectly cooked and nicely portioned. The service was somewhat inattentive after we were served our main courses—otherwise I would have had another glass of wine—but helpful in selecting the special grilled fish. The ambience was vibrant—the rooms are spectacular—as everyone clearly was enjoying themselves. We also go to Joso’s our first night visiting Toronto and will do it again next time.

The food was amazing. Fresh seafood and the steak was one of the best I've had. The manager was very accommodating. Friendly servers. Great atmosphere. Overall excellent experience. Highly recommend. Should make reservations in advance.

Service and food was fairly good although the fish was a little overcooked. Pasta was excellent as was the starter salad. Seating was very tight and was almost like sharing a table with another couple. Overall value wasn’t there from my perspective compared to other similar restaurants.

My new favorite restaurant in Toronto. We had just come back from Italy, and the seafood served here was better than any seafood abroad. I had no idea shrimp could taste this good. Service was impeccable, ambiance was eclectic yet homey. I want to live at this restaurant. Thank you!!
