We have been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years. It has been our favourite. I’m vegan and have never had any problems with having a dish made up for me. Tonight I received a bowl of cut up carrots and zucchini that looked like a child cut up and baby potatoes that looked like we’re thrown in there whole. There was no flavor. My friend got a basil pasta dish with no basil in it. When she asked about the missing basil they just said it was not part of the dish when the menu clearly said basil. I felt like they could have just given her the basil. I felt the night was mediocre and not worth it.
We have had lunch 3 times and the food/service was very good. The price is on the high side but assume charging extra because of being at a winery and on Niagara on the Lake. The major complaint we have is the wine pricing at the restaurant. You can buy a bottle in the tasting room for $30 but expect to pay $70 plus when you order the same bottle in the restaurant. Realize there is a mark up on the wine, but being your winery, I would expect a more reasonable mark up.
Wonderful culinary experience. Only one suggestion would be to offer side veggie option or even salads to balance out the menu. We had to ask for a side a grilled veggies, which they gladly were able to accommodate. Thank you.
Our food was so fresh and so tasty. LOVED the cheese!!! Both the goat cheese and the mozzarella.
Our server was lovely.
The hostess sat us by the fire as we asked. She was very accommodating.
Great experience will go back!
Fantastic as always. My favourite restaurant in NOTL.
It was our anniversary and Kitchen76 was the perfect spot for dinner. The ambiance was fantastic. The winery is beautiful. The service was outstanding and wine some of the best. The food is unique, so you have to be up for that. The tables are close to one another, although that didn’t bother us. We will definitely go back.
Have shared delicious lunches and dinners several times at this vineyard restaurant. All servings have been consistently well prepared and equally delicious. Especially always look forward to a great lunch with their wonderful pizzas !
Lovely place. Great for dinner. Noise level perfect for conversing. Food was great. Beignets to die for. Service-was exemplary.
My husband and I had a great evening, we just got married during the day and wanted a nice romantic evening. The server was wonderful and the food was fantastic.
Honestly truly amazing!!!!!!! I did find it a little noisy but would not deter me from going back. A little on the pricey side but the food was amazing!!!!! And service was amazing. Would go back tonight but it is full!!!!!
Everything was great. We did not have appetizers, which we should have because the pasta meal portions are small. Food was delicious wine was good too
On our way to Niagara Falls for a family weekend and stopped in here for lunch and a tasting. So glad we did. The food was outstanding as was the wine. And the table right by the gorgeous fireplace was perfect. Excellent all around.
This restaurant was recommended to us by many people, and we were really looking forward to it. The restaurant is beautiful, and the fireplace was cosy. Unfortunately, the soup and the pasta dishes were both quite salty, and pretty ordinary, given the prices. The coffee was barely warm. The desserts were terrific, and the service was very good. Overall, disappointing.
Excellent meal in a beautiful location on outskirts of NOL. Wine was very good and great service. A little noisy but lively ambiance. Portions a little small but food was well prepared and great flavour.
Gorgeous Winery with breath taking views.
Fabulous Food and Wine!
On my list of one of my favourite places.
We have been to Kitchen 76 several times and it never disappoints! Will always go back for special occasion dinners.
We enjoyed our after theatre dinner. The vinyard and restaurant are conveniently located near the Shaw Festival theatre and easily reached from the highway. The outdoor patio overlooking the vinyard
would be great during the warm weather. We enjoyed the lamb with polenta and veg and my friend loved the steak. The focaccia starter was rather ho hum but other starters that went by looked interesting.
This was at least our tenth visit. It was very busy and very loud. Lunch on Friday. Kind of disappointing. Also we were never t happy with part of our meal. Nothing was offered to substitute or try to please us. Too bad.
We love the two sisters. Between my daughters and friends we go quite often. I love the food and the menu but I think they need to add either just a few more options or switch it up a bit more. We love the rose. I’ve eaten inside and outside and I love both. I was disappointed we didn’t get a window seat as I did stress it was a very special bday for my girlfriend and requested one. We will be back soon for Friday afternoon fun.

Beautiful setting and delicious food. The service was excellent. Would recommend for a special evening out.
Wonderful evening, excellent dinner , beautiful surroundings and ambiance
It was an special ocasión because my parents are visiting my sister and I. The food was delicious and the place was beautiful! We simply loved it!
Only criticism would be service. We waited 1-1/4 for lunch to reach table. Finally had to ask where our lunch was as other people came in about 1/2 hour after us and were eating. Waitress said something went wrong in kitchen and orders weren’t going through. Service was too long.
Halibut was overcooked and the pasta dishes lacked flavour. Expensive for the portion size. The hot sauce was make inhouse - that was amazing.
We always enjoy your restaurant
The noise level was exceptionally louder than usual.
The food and service was great as usual
This was our third time to Kitchen76, we were extremely disappointed in the prices on the menu. $30 is way to much for pasta. $49 for the steak dinner is not reasonable. This will be our last time to Kitchen76.
Outstanding food and professional service. Ambiance is perfect and the staff and menu never disappoint. Thank you for a lovely dinner and wonderful customer service. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived as returning guests....just a lovely dinner evening.
Always a fantastic!! We have been a number of times and will be back again! Staff is amazing!
Wonderful experience with friends for lunch. Our waiter was very attentive. Everyone enjoyed the menu, wine, and view of the vineyard.
While I found the food ok I was not overimpressed with the tagliatelle/shrimp/tomato. Polenta, the comfort food of once the poor, was also pretty pricey for it’s simple appetizer. It’s not that it was served with melted taleggio and mushrooms but a very simple and quick dish. As an appetizer I found it very generous. Thankfully the waitress suggested we order one vs. two. I would think having even two pieces with a bit more pizzaz people could easily order one each with perhaps have a lower entry price.
While the ambience was great I felt the food and in particular the wine very expensive...$18 for 5 ozs. and bottles were $50...$60 and up. I would have thought being a winery a more reasonable price on the wine. While it might have been more worthwhike to order a bottle vs individual drinks we were just 2 so a bottle would have been too much. The server did say we could take the rest home if we ordered a bottle. We prefer not to drive home with a half bottle of wine even though it may be sealed.
Price aside in all fairness both my husband and I thought the wine was very good.
Very average food. Good wine, but too expensive for what you get. I would not recommend the restaurant, which is unfortunate because it once had very good reviews. I guess they got rid of the original chef.
Overpriced and food was underwhelming but the service and ambiance were excellent
good service, average food at half the price, way too loud
At least Kitchen 76 is a spectacular venue.
Beautiful environment. Décor is really fabulous. Attention to detail everywhere. Service in the restaurant was fantastic and the meal was great.
Lovely brunch accompanied by some very fine wine on a crisp fall day! The Eleventh Post red is a must-try!
First time at Kitchen76. As soon as we walked in we knew the place was going to be loud, and it was. We were seated and served promptly. The food was good, not great (I had the sausage pizza and the sausage was a little cold on the inside) and not worth the cost. The place was spectacular, from the drive in to the restaurant. We felt, as the evening wore off and the place was getting busier, they wanted to turn tables over to get the new people in. Overall, it was okay. Great place if you go as a group, not so much for a date and you want a less noisy atmosphere. Would we go again, likely not. We think you should experience it.
Food was very good. However, for the money, I can get better value elsewhere. A 5 oz. glass of wine for $15-17 too expensive. I ordered a draft beer at fair value $8.75. I noticed many other customers did the same, probably for the same reason. If you wanted me to buy some of your wine you should have made the price a little more affordable. Also there was no welcoming simple appetizer like for example, some bread and oil/pepper/ dip.
Also, the ambiance was too noisy ( some baffles in the ceiling or other method could have reduced the noise). Ambiance is not comparable to other high class restaurants to which this ones aspires to be.
The outside locale was very inviting but we were not able to use it due to the cold weather.
Beautiful location & great food
Would definitely recommend
