The space is large, however there are also many people dining with you (at least during our visit). The noise level is higher than I'd like for a "fine" dining experience. However, if you are intending to for the eating experience, then the quality and taste of the food make every other factor pale in comparison. The service was textbook great. It felt attentive but not bothersome. We did leave a note stating we were celebrating a birthday, but the only person surprised was myself when no surprise came to our table. Disappointing, but that may have been a technical issue or what not. Will be going again soon.

Great evening! Everything was great- room was fun and decorated for valentines, food was excellent-generous proportions, enough to share, service was excellent The cannoli was outstanding! The flavors of the filling were the best I ever had. I usually don’t love a deconstructed take on the traditional but these cannoli were a 10/10! Can’t wait to go back. Prices were high but you get your moneys worth. We are locals and are touring the area for the best Italian. This is a contender for a traditional Italian meal like mamma makes.

Impeccable service, tasty food and good portions. This is a Georgetown mainstay that should not be missed. These are a few of my favourite things: - house made pasta - tortelloni de Michele - carafes of Sambucca and Amertto at the end of the meal The portions are large enough to be shared. Everything is good!

Outstanding food and portions. Come hungry & make sure you leave time to head back to your hotel to drop off leftovers. Dessert portion can be shared & with all you've eaten already, I highly recommend. Ambiance is amazing & not anything I was prepared for.... But exactly what I wanted. Absolutely worth planning to visit. Will be back next time we head up to DC from SC .

10:45 pm was only time we could book. Worth the wait. We were very excited to try this restaurant after a recent trip to Italy. Everything we ate was very good. Service was top notch. Friendly and courteous. We are planning a second trip with an earlier reservation so we can enjoy it longer.

So very very noisy. Couldn’t hear the person across the table. Our waiter and the service was good but felt rushed. Boy that kitchen turns the food out rapidly but it was good with nice sized portions. Armaretto was a nice touch. They moved us so quickly that dinner was over in one and quarter hours. Enjoyed dinner but probably won’t go back as I like to be able to talk to those at my table.

We had a birthday evening planned and notified the restaurant but no birthday reference was given at all. Our food was amazing but the server never checked on us or refilled our waters. It was a packed restaurant and a bit chaotic. But the fact they didn't do their birthday thing was a let down.

Filameno’s is one of the best dining experiences in the area. The service is incredible, the cuisine always delicious. The ambiance embraces the feel of a local bistro and busy downtown ristorante. Decorated for every holiday increases it’s charm. I’ve been dining at Filameno’s since the 80’s when the had a lasagna lunch special with all the bread you could eat for starving college graduates and will keep dining there.
