The Teahouse Restaurant
One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.
The natural west coast atmosphere is perfectly enhanced by Executive Chef Alan Tse's cuisine using fresh local ingredients.
For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.
The Teahouse is a contemporary dining experience with a difference, accompanied by the longest sunsets in the city.

Wonderful view, awesome ambiance, polite and efficient staff. Food selection is great and good presentation. Great to be able to hold good conversation without distractions.
My spinach and tomatoe omelette was under cooked, but everything else was great! This was our third visit in the two years we’ve lived here and we will be back:)
The Tea House is in a nice location in Stanley Park. The Lobster Club Sandwich was cold but served on a hot plate which made the sandwich both hot and cold which was not a good situation. Pick one - cold or hot but not both.
The second meal was a Chicken Caesar Salad but it was on the small size, as was the chicken breast.
We had reservations and we had to wait still. They were still busy setting up that area of the restaurant and yet it is off-season at this time of year and so slow for them.
The waiter was good.
Excellent food, great service.
Great service, beautiful setting, fantastic food and good wine selection by the glass.
An unbeatable location in Vancouver but, as usual, you’re paying for the scenery. Better eggs benedict may be found elsewhere for less money. However, the service was surprisingly great given most are tourists and won’t be back anyways.
Great views, efficient service, lovely brunch midway on our seawall hike
after many highly successful visits to the Teahouse this was poor; we likely will return to try them again, but the food at this visit was 2-3/5 while usually being 4.5-5/5 over many other visits.
The only complaint I have is that the recorded music was a little bit too loud.
Very nice relaxing environment for lunch.
Service by Jared & food , drinks was Excellent!
Out of town guest from Switzerland was thrilled with the restaurant and park surroundings. Lovely meal and she very kindly treated us to dinner.
Myself and my guests were happy with our table--we had a lovely view of the water. The view, and our waiter were excellent. The food was so so. We all had salmon and it was lovely, however, given the prices, I thought the meals were lacking. The Teahouse is really geared for visitors, and the turnover was significant, giving the restaurant a slightly frenzied vibe. I ordered a side of asparagus which was tasty, but overcooked. The cappuccino lacked flavour. My guests and I had a great visit, but I will not bring anyone else to this restaurant.
Great brunch! Sasha, our waiter, was excellent! The food was great as well, with lots of fresh fruits and salad fixings. The views are nice, especially since this is located in Stanley Park. There is outside seating as well, with heaters. The place is very busy and with that comes a certain noise level. It's not the place for a quiet, intimate get together. But it is a wonderful place to spend some time, enjoy the meal, and take a tour (lots of cyclists and strollers) of the park and its beaches.
Spectacular view! Delicious food & great service. Definitely try the Earl Grey brownie, a unique dessert treat.
It was good, our fish was fresh but even with the sauces, nothing seemed to be seasoned correctly. The plating was really good, however the flavors did not match the look. If I had to label the food, it tried really hard to be bland.
Our server did not bring our bread plate prior to the meal like other tables, and disappeared to where eventually I left my credit card out on the table to give her the hint I was ready to go.
If you have fresh fish, let that flavor come through. Don't worry about sauces, season first then cook, and we appreciate it more.
Really enjoyed delicious fresh food and gorgeous scenery. So close to Seawall for walks after. And could have conversation without yelling even though packed with people. Great acoustics! Recommend!
It was great! Took us a long time to get the bill though. No complaints beside that!
We had guests in from California and, as asked, a table with a view of the incredible sunset was reserved for us. From the moment we walked in the door the staff was attentive and pleasant. We will definitely go again.
the bread is really good.
Service slow. Great food and view! Would come again. Prices were as expected. Simple menu.
Every food item we ordered was exceptionally well done.
Very good, food was over salted but still a good experience.
While the evening was mostly excellent, service was slow. It was not busy - perhaps only 1/3 full, but it took more than ten minutes for drinks to arrive.
We walked through the forest to this beautiful spot. An elegant space both indoors and outdoors. Friendly and accommodating staff. The presentation of our meals were so nice especially the deserts. The mushroom ravioli with pesto was delicious. The burgers were tasty and the lemon tart was spot on. We were celebrating a birthday and last day visiting Vancouver. It did not disappoint. Our server Mark made us feel at home. Last but not least the view. It’s beautiful.
it had been ten years since we had visited. we wanted to bring our friends from Ohio. we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. we made reservations for 730 pm and showed up at 635 pm, way early. We were accommodated quickly. Very nice and unusual. Thank you.
We were there for Thanksgiving and had the Thanksgiving menu. The price was reasonable for a delicious 3 course meal. We got there 5 mins prior to our reservation time and were seated immediately at the cozy fireplace. The service was lovely and food came in a timely manner. We didn't feel rushed at all. We managed to even catch a beautiful sunset as we enjoyed our dinner. The only negative was that my son ordered off the al la carte menu and was not too thrilled about his meal as the restaurant didn't have what he initially ordered and was not really happy with his second choice.
The food although not the most delicious I've tasted, was still quite good and the ambience made up for it, making it a very lovely experience.
Great little place. We are traveling and were looking for somewhere to experience Canadian Thanksgiving dinner - at only $39 for three courses this was perfect. The view from the windows is stunning and we had a lovely wine too without it making dinner for three an unreasonable price.
It’s worth a walk in the park to find, though you can also drive up.
Highly recommend. Our waiter Kelley was wonderful - he found an alternative main course for the vegetarian in our party and even offered some advice for other places to see on our travels.
Went for Thanksgiving dinner it was amazing food and service!
A Vancouver "must experience" restaurant of note. Not only is it a high-end restaurant IN Stanley Park, it also offers the perfect ambiance for every meal from breakfast/brunch to dinner in style. Love this place!
For the most part the food was good, but we had the special, Roast beef with yorkshire. The yorkshire pudding was dry and tasteless and there was just a little reduction in the way of gravy. Meat was very tough. Would not recommend it.
Delicious food and excellent service in a lovely location . Only downside - There was a wedding on so it was very noisy. We sat outside on the heated patio to eat and some of the drunk wedding guests came and sat near us shouting to one another really loudly, so it was a little difficult to have a quiet romantic time (we were visiting from England so it was a bit of a shame). Still we would go back.
I really appreciated the server going the extra mile to get me a real martini glass. She must've known that I prefer a stemmed glass from the computer records.
Great food with great service in one of the best settings in Stanley Park. We go to the Teahouse every chance we get when vacation in the Vancouver area. It always meets our high expectations.
Fantastic experience ,would highly recommend it to all my friends
We reserved ahead of time and it was quick and easy. No problems with the reservation.
Our guests were visiting from Ireland and they were impressed with the setting, the view from our window table (as requested), the food, wine and prompt & courteous services. We couldn't have asked for a better experience - as always at the Teahouse in Stanley Park.
We sat on the patio overlooking a beautiful setting in front of Burrard Inlet. It was a sunny day, the patio patio heaters made it perfect on a Sept day. Food was good, service was very prompt & friendly. Would definitely come back
1. Food: Side of asparagus had far too much salty grated cheese on it so that was all you could taste.
Stuffed mushroom caps were no different than something purchased in a grocery store and just tasted like Philadelphia cream cheese.
Lobster tail was absurdly small (though I was expecting it to be, just not quite THAT small!) and not much effort was made with the Caesar salad, which again, tasted like bottled dressing you'd buy in a supermarket.
2. Noise: Large table of women near us were very loud throughout.
3. Service: Waiter disappeared after serving us our main course and we had to hunt him down to order dessert and then again to pay the bill.
4. Clean-up: The biggest annoyance. Our reservation was for 8 p.m. and while we were waiting for our waiter to come back to order dessert, it was really inappropriate for staff to be packing up large banquet tables and lugging them around us during our meal and cleaning the restaurant. Felt as if we were in the middle of a construction zone and they were practically vacuuming under our feet, or it felt as if that was the next thing they were going to do if we didn't quickly eat our dessert (when the waiter finally did come back), and get the hell out of there.
Overall everything was great, no waiting when we arrived, food was delicious, our waiter was very professional and friendly. We didn’t feel rushed to finish. I will recommend it, the view is breathtaking.
Good service, good food and good value, book a table as turning up off spec is a bit of a lottery
