We (party of 4) enjoyed ourselves tremendously at Michael's B.D. The service was really attentive (waiter was Sean). Orders taken promptly, but at our convenience. Food/beverages delivered at proper times. Sean was knowledgeable, congenial....... Surroundings were cozy, but not too cozy (ie. not a big impersonable room). Food was excellent. Wine list pretty extensive/representative (should have a Portuguese Douro though). Definitely will be back.

Food was good, however, very over priced. Years ago, I used to go there quite often, for their Angel Hair lobster. There used to actually be pieces of lobster in it, but we couldn't find any this time. Was $40 for a plate of angel hair pasta! Based on value, will not return.

I ordered the Beet Gnocchi. I love Gnocchi, but this one in particular I felt was a little bland and lacked flavored. The creme brule was delicious however, and the staff were very welcoming. I'd like to go back and definitely try another one of their other good dishes for sure

Service was meh. Appetizers of shrimp and grilled calamari were good however this followed with the lobster cappelini which showed up as a soupy mess. Way too much sauce and overcooked pasta. Not the presentation I expected from a finer dining restaurant. Very disappointing and could barely eat. The waiter didn’t even question why I had a full plate in front of me and only asked if I wanted it boxed up. Had high hopes for this place as I hadn’t been for 20 years but was extremely disappointed

My husband and I were celebrating both New Year’s Eve and our Dec 28 wedding anniversary. We started going out for our anniversary dinner on New year’s Eve because we enjoy the special dinners offered by many restaurants that night. As always, Michael’s did not disappoint. The three courses were all delicious and perfectly prepared. Our waiter, Carlos, was friendly, helpful, and always checked to make sure the food was as expected.
