Service and food was excellent. The belly dancing was a lot of fun to watch.
Fantastic food and great entertainment with the belly dancing
Fantastic evening with great friends at Cazbar. Our meal was delicious, service was attentive & they feature a memorable belly dancer performance every weekend! I highly recommend Cazbar!
Cazbar was so much fun! We went on a Saturday night, had reservations for 8pm. Did not specify we wanted seating on the second floor because was not sure we could stay for belly dancing. But we were seated upstairs anyway and it is really a cool vibe. The crowd was fun and everyone dining there seemed to be having a good time. We had the visne Rita (margarita with sour cherry juice, fruit wine (sangria) and Efes beer. All were great. For dinner, we shared the Sultan's platter. Awesome! Amazing! So much food! We definitely did not need the hummus appetizer we had ordered to start (even though it was delicious!) Belly dancing at 9:30! What can I say. These women are talented, beautiful, and great entertainers. There were like 3 birthdays when we were there and each birthday guest got a special dessert brought over by the belly dancer. I left a generous tip but next time want to tip the belly dancer specifically. It feels weird to give them money while they are dancing but they do circulate around and that would be the time. Definitely going back to Cazbar!!
The Cazbar is one of my favorite places! The food is always fantastic, and the service is friendly and prompt.
Interesting restaurant. Everything was good, nothing outstanding, but would come again. Best dishes (from what we ordered) were the Manti (excellent!) and the Tavuk Saute (chicken in tomato sauce with peppers and onions). Doner sandwich was good. The Adana Iskender was not bad, but not at all like we had in Turkey. Would not order the $28 large mixed meze selection again, as it was just a variety of spreads (some good, some not). Also would not order the Imam Bayildi again. The Kunefe dessert was excellent. Service was quick.
Born in Turkey, raised in New York. Of all the Turkish food I’ve eaten across many states, this place is one of the best. I’ve come here a few times when visiting DC (yes I went this far out of my way for it).
We visit Cazbar often during the theater season. It never disappoints. The herb salad is splendid with soup and mezze.
Everything was amazing! The manager was very accommodating. Our waiter worked a table of 30 by himself and did an outstanding job..the food was delicious..belly dancers and was a hit !
Belly dancing was not interesting and restaurant environment not to freindly ...
Enjoyed every bite. Accommodates a variety of special diets if you have a finicky group.
Had a rehearsal dinner there this past weekend and it was amazing. Great food and amazing service. I would definitely go back. Oh and they had an awesome belly dancer. That was a great surprise.
The staff was incredible! Will come again to ser the live entertainment. Had a great birthday and a wonderful time, all 6 of us!
Apparently valet service is no longer available. Took us all about 30mins to secure parking.
The food was flavorful but salty.
Excellent food and a truly lovely waitress. Also, the belly dancers made it really fun and unique. I will definitely be returning!!
Food was great, service was great, belly dancing show was very entertaining! The large Sultans platter for four was more than enough food for our party of four, we took the leftovers home and fed two more people! We will definitely return and recommend it to our friends!
I dined there last weekend with family and friends, party of 6. Overall nice experience until the bill. I gave the server my credit card and he presented a device that offered various tipping options and a place to sign. Only when I demanded the itemized bill did he let me know that a 20% tip had already been added (due to the size of our party). I really like the food at Cazbar; interesting, tasty and reasonably priced. Unfortunate that the server was ethically challenged. To many options for me to ever go back. Enjoy your tip.
Exceptional Turkish food - great service, huge menu, lively atmosphere.
Loved it. Belly dancer was great. There is nowhwrw my girlfriend will never order salmon anywhere else.
Order SULTAN PLATTER FOR TWO. It's a great taster of everything.
Great food. Generous portions
The food was the real deal! Fresh delicious and reasonably priced!
The lentil soup is the best I’ve had!
The menu was promising and the service decent, but the food was a little underwhelming. The manti lacked developed flavors and the moussaka was on the greasy side. Also, we couldn’t shake the idea that the latter was an elevated take on Chef Boyardee. On the fence about whether or not we’d give it another go.
It was fab. The chef came out to talk to us and find out how we were enjoying ourselves and the food was. The waiters could not have been nicer or more attentive! All in all a great meal!
The wait staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and take time to explain what ingredients are in the dishes we were unfamiliar with. Food is very flavorful and the pumpkin soup is fabulous!!
second time for us here, both times great service and food choices. best middle eastern food in Baltimore, if not all of Maryland and DC.
We loved the food and our server was wonderful. The online description said dimly lit and cozy but it turned out to be brightly lit and very, very loud.
We also aren’t in to the belly dancing so we’ll come again when that isn’t in the schedule.
Overall though the food and service was excellent!
Overall food was good but quantity was small.
“Manti” wasn’t that good.
Cazbar usually is one of my favorite place and I used to organize dinner with a large group because it is perfect for the space and quality of food.
Anyway yesterday night it was really weird because the quality of service was little bit lower the expectations, it wasn’t excellent. Probably I paid more than right price, maybe 10 dollars more and when I try to discuss about and show me the price of single meal with the waiter he disappeared. He treated us as stupid maybe because we aren’t of “town”.
I know that happened only one time and for sure I will come back in the restaurant but for the manager needs to be careful about they waiters. They can’t more money following this way.
I’ve been to Cazbar on several occasions. Today they seemed understaffed.
Went there years ago and hadn't had a chance to get back but now we definitely will - and much more often. We've been recommending it friends. Very nice people in the restaurant. No one bothered us as we stayed a while longer than dinner because we were visiting with an out-of-town friend. Large menu.
Had my wife there for our anniversary and we were very very happy.........the lamb and salmon were out of this world. Wish it was closer to home but we'll be going back real soon! This was the only restaurant staff that I tipped 25 percent-it was that exceptional!
Food was excellent, as always. A bit pricey for what we got, particularly the desserts.
First time that I ever went to Cazbar and received abysmal service. Usually, they are so attentive; however, this waitress spent more time in the back eating her own meal than paying attention to her customers. Very disappointed.
The food are pretty good. We got the lamb three ways and eggplant. They are tasty, also got a free hummus when checked in on yelp
Delicious food and super friendly staff to explain the menu.
It was our first night in Baltimore for a conference. The whole experience was great and on Mondays they had kabobs for $5.
My first time to this restaurant as I do not live in Baltimore. It was exceptional in every sense of the word. I think the four of us were most impressed with the waiter...helpful and fun.
Had a truly wonderful meal at Cazbar. The food was fantastic, the service warm and personal, the space beautiful and inviting. If I lived in the area, this would be my go to restaurant for everyday dining, special events, and everything in between.
Yummy Turkish food
