Thank you, it was great experience as usual:)
Your ignorant belief that your food is worth the price, to start with, is ridiculous
Pasta was so hard I couldn’t chew it. And I like my past al denote.
No flavour to your amatraciana sauce. That was a joke.
The fact you think you are too good to allow changes, like change of pasta, is insane. Pasta was prepared in a pot and scooped out when ordered. You are clearly too lazy to make the food, when ordered
Have spend $1000s of dollars at your restaurant
Your upscale snotty attitude just finished my patronage for good
The restaurant's policy of no modifications allowed is very disappointing. You should be able to ask to have a salad's dressing on the side if you want it. Moreover it should not be that hard for the staff to bring parmesan cheese and oregano to add to an order of piazza. Terrible restaurant policy.
When no one can decided this is the place you'll end up. It pleases everyone.
Solid Italian food, awesome wine list, great service
Food was great + menu has great options however there was a miscommunication with one of the appetizers and our server backtalked and after that he did not check up on us once to ask how our main dish or dessert was. Had to ask a hostess where he was half the time because he didn’t show any interest in us.
Need to make the fire place work was a little cold
Awesome, as always!
Amazing as always
Always delicious and reliable. Great server!!!
Good salads and pizza. Almost as good as Pizzaria Gusto
I've been going to this restaurant for more than 10 years. Everything on the menu is delicious.
I had lunch with one of my best friends and really enjoyed it.
My favourites are fried calamari, pizza and tiramisu for desert.
The staff is friendly and the place is very clean.
Nice ambiance overall.
Easy to park in the street or across the street.
This is a nice place but staff don't seem to be attentive anymore. They talk to each other more than taking care of customers. Some seem to have zero training. I used to love this place but not as much anymore
Food is always delicious
Service is always professional
Sommelier Drew is fantastic!
Food comes out fresh and fast.
While the waiter was clearly experienced and wanted to be attentive, the crazy kid-hour atmosphere didn’t allow for anything other than a rushed, frantic atmosphere. Having a smudged appetizer plate placed, and forgetting to provide a spoon for spaghetti also marred the service. No offer of Parmesan or cracked pepper. Pizzas were good. Appetizers were overpriced for ho hum caprese (tomatoes not very flavourful) and ok fried calamari.
Was there for a birthday dinner and I loved every bit of it. Service was amazing, food came extremely dinner and four of us finished in 49 minutes. Food was extremely tasty definitely recommend
Great food and friendly service as always!
We were seated upstairs in a great spot without too much traffic. Loud but bearable (at 6:30!). Our waiter was good - but not overly friendly - a bit curt. Good staff coordination at first, but then it started getting very busy. Our olive oil / tomatoes were removed before the bread arrived :). Salad was great (arugula + parm) and both pasta mains were outstanding! Our waiter warmed up towards the end... Great wine/glass selection and good on you for non-alcoholic beer - a good one!
Good food but they do not offer any customization. I wanted a different pasta.. ie penne instead of spaghetti.. no changes to the sauce. They would not accommodate.
The sommelier was outstanding - I tried the bottle we had selected (under her recommendation) after she opened it and I chose to be honest and say I didn’t enjoy the taste of the wine. She took the bottle away saying “we won’t have you drinking wine you don’t enjoy” and brought over multiple bottles to choose from to make our experience special and enjoyable. I was very impressed with the service, and it left all of us leaving with a very pleasant taste in our mouth. Great food and fantastic birthday dinner overall - will definitely be returning.
always excellent, hasn’t never disappointed, great atmosphere, but really loud
The food was good, and service was relatively quick, but honestly our server was dressed kind of inappropriately. For starters, bare armpits have no business being near food. Secondly, if I can tell you're not wearing a bra, your shirt is not work appropriate. Her top looked more like lingerie. As far as I could tell, this was meant to be a family oriented restaurant. Some semblance of a uniform would also help guests to differentiate staff from patrons.
No ambience in the back room. Felt like we were sitting in the storage room with all the boxes.
Wish you wouldn't change the pasta dishes - been coming for 20 years and you just changed my favourite dish. I am not thrilled with the new options. You can change with the specials but really think you shouldn't mess about with the core menu choices that have been there for years.
Food is always consistently high grade and very excellent. Service is great and the ambience is the best at the Summerhill location.
Food was good. Split a pasta and a salad. Two glasses of wine (seemed small). Bill was $78. Overall the food was good but portions small - food and wine
We both had tgd Caprese salad and it was delicious. I highly recommend it for a light tasty lunch.
Staff are friendly and helpful... great service. They were very accommodating when we asked to move seating location.
We had an important friend visiting from out of province who we were entertaining at Terroni for dinner. We had made a reservation 2 weeks before. Upon arrival the place was crowded with noisy people and our table was not available which was most upsetting. There appears to be a problem with time allowed between table bookings We had to stand around for at least 10 minutes - not ideal when hosting someone for dinner. The food, however, was delicious and well-done, and the service very good. Fabulous pasta and gelato.
Great experience as always!
Always great and authentic Italian
The food was amazing as usual, but we did notice a lot of kids on a Friday night, which made it quite loud. It seemed like a lot of families dine here now? This wasn't the trend before and we are frequent visitors of Terroni. Nevertheless, Terroni does not disappoint.
This was the first time we had a major delay on our order when our waiter supposedly did not hear us order an appetizer and then when we brought it to his attention he blamed us. Otherwise, excellent as usual.
Terronis was great at hosting us for my friend’s bday party! They made sure we had a great circular table at the end of the restaurant and even split our bills at the end. Great service overall
Bologonese sauce was disappointing. The sauce was too salty and the ragu texture was less ragu and more ground beef
My favorite place with awesome food and friendly ambience.
They canceled our reservation then played stupid it wasn’t there !! I had confirmation # and they shrugged us off like no biggie. Wasn’t impressed.
Food was delicious. The staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed ( the whole restaurant was full). Would return again.
Appetizers and dinner was just fantastic! Very accommodating to allergies. Overall a very nice place to eat!
Loved the food and the service. 2 things that made my experience less enjoyable:
There are a few spots in the restaurant where a strong draft hits you right in the head. This wouldn’t be a problem for The first few minutes, but an hour below direct wind draft is extremely uncomfortable. Second thing is the decoration in one of the walls. There are packs of cans and olives. I would argue that having the olives on their own, placed in an esthetic and artistic way would add to the character of the restaurant. But having random pics of cans really makes you feel as though you are having dinner at a convenient store. I was really shocked to see that.
