Food was really good and beer was average. I wish they had more Terrapin swag!
We had a group of 12 people with a reservation. The restaurant was not crowded, but they still did not have our table ready until 30 minutes after our reservation time. Half of the table was almost done eating their dinner before the second half got theirs. That was only after one of our guests got up to find the server and ask where the food was. In fact he had to get up to find the server several times. Then when the check came, we were told they could only split it 4 ways which is ridiculous now because most other restaurants can split checks with no problem.
The food was great, so was the service. We had someone with us that was in a wheelchair & hard of hearing. They were able to put us in a corner. We had a fabulous time!
I bring guests to the Taproom several times a month; close to my office and conducive to get-togethers and lunch meetings.
This was my second time here, and the food was not the same as it was the first time. More greasy and not the same amount of ingredients. Also the food took longer to get out this time even when we ordered the same. Might try again to see which day is normal, if the first time or my second time. The main host was really nice and friendly.
This was our first time here at the Taproom and the Battery! Food was delicious and portions were huge! Great service as well! Would highly recommend!
Good beer...Good food... Good atmosphere. Definitely check it out.
Yes but. They Fox Bros. Barbecue which is one of the best in ATL. But getting into Battery and parking. You have two hours to eat and finish, otherwise you get charged $20 for parking. Plus they only validate one parking ticket if you spend over $50 ( whic is not hard to do.
Wings, fried ribs and brisket are can't miss items
Server was inattentive—-maybe new? Food was better than expected!
The food was okay. The menu should be so simple a child can read it. The child menu only had three items to choose from. At three that’s cool but at eight or older it’s not.
I would if the service was better. I hate to write a bad review on one experience but I had a party of 9 and the drink service was unbelievably slow. When the waiter ran my credit card he did not bring the itemized receipt which had the 20% gratuity already added in. That seemed a little on the shady side. Food and beer was good and maybe my server was having an off night.
The service was extremely slow and our appetizers were delivered to the wrong table. The food pales in comparison to the flagship Fox Bros location.
It was pretty good, played trivia
Server(s) were not friendly. They seemed inconvenienced every time we needed something, which was not that often. Everything else (food, ambience) was just okay.
Good BBQ & brew right next to the baseball stadium. What more could you want?
I am a fan of Fox Brothers BBQ and was pleased to see their food was available at Terrapin Taproom. The BBQ wings, frito pie and tator tots were tasty. The wings had a good flavor. We also had the pulled pork sandwich, the meat was dry and felt as if it had been sitting out all day. The collard greens were good but really spicy. The service was extremely slowly, it appeared as if the restaurant was understaffed the day of our reservation. I would try the restaurant again in hopes that the food will be better on the next trip.
Service was a little slow but our waiter was very nice. We enjoyed the Lopez appetizer and I thought the collard greens were delicious enough to order a second serving. The fried ribs were a miss for me and lacked flavor. Thought I would try something different.
I would go back because I love their regular bbq.
Overall ok, but portion sizes are very small for the money you pay....for instance, a brisket plate contains only 8 oz of meat which translates into 3 slices.... about 3 inches long, 1 inch wide and less than 1/4 inch thick and price is $18...conclusion: good food but overpriced and the original Fox Bros BBQ location remains a much better choice.
Good food and service was excellent!!
Made reservations prior to Tree Lighting event at The Battery. It was perfect!! We were comfortable there, service was quick and staff was attentive and quick but didn’t rush us either. Food was excellent!!
We had reservations. Later, when it turned out to be a game day, the restaurant called and still honored those reservations. Apparently, they don’t normally except reservations on game days. I appreciate them still honoring the reservations as the restaurant was packed. I did feel somewhat rushed by the waitress, but being a game day, it was busy and I know that they are trying to get as many in and out as possible. We ordered a couple of rounds of appetizers and drinks. Both were good.
It was fine. Food snd service are ok but on par with the battery
With Fox Brothers BBQ full menu available and the restaurant right next to the stadium, this is the perfect BBQ joint!
Good food and beer great place for anyone anytime . BBQ was great as well as our server sorry I can’t remember her name
Reserved a high top in front of a t.v. that would be plying the GA Dawgs game. When we showed up we were flippantly told the only place available was outside. Why did we even bother with a reservation? We were placed at a table outside with a pillar blocking the only t.v...It was almost the second quarter before we could get anyone to switch it to the Dawgs game. Mixed drinks are very expensive. $10 for a tiny mile. Service is slow but they still seem to rush you when they finally do come around. The server only came around after we were served to drop off the check. Our drinks had been empty for 20 minutes. My husband asked for another and we were asked to go ahead and pay because our server was going home. Awesome. We've been here for 45 minutes and managed to get one drink. The real terrapin and real fox brothers is a much more enjoyable experience.
they were rushing us from the minute we sat down. Kept asking us when the other 2 of our party would get there (even though we already ordered food and 2 drinks each as soon as someone came over to take our order) . Then the manager came over after we had sat an hour and told us there was a 90 minute time limit on each table (never heard of such a thing somewhere) and that should have been told to us either when making the reservation or prior to seating us... so the whole experience felt rushed and ironically no one came over to our table after we were seated (for 20 minutes to bring water or take our order so should have been deducted from the absurd time limit on the table)
My pulled pork sandwich was not pulled at all and was mostly fat and huge pieces of bark. What little bit i could eat was flavorless and the bbq sauce just tasted like tomato juice. I also received a fruit cup that looked old with mushy fruit. Our waiter had the personality of a brick wall. He did as little as he could and stood by the hostess stand chatting the whole time. When we needed things like the BBQ sauce that wasnt on the table we had to go find it ourselves or ask a different waiter. Very disapppointed with our entire experience.
Great brew and very tasty wings!! Service was satisfactory for the crowd that was present.
Very very loud but that is expected! Food was good, but the servers were too busy to be attentive. Great location by the ball park. Fun experience overall.
Made reservations before The Jason Aldean concert. Walked right in to our table and service was right on us. Food was really good and plenty of it. Will definitely be going back
I would like them to have some more options from the original Fox bross menu such as the ribs. Incredible that they don't have them.
Not for business meals. Better for those with drunchies coming from suntrust park.
Had reservations but didn’t get seated until 30 min later
We had a reservation for 8 people and arrived 10 minutes early. We were informed our table was not ready and asked to come back. We came back 20 minutes later (10 minutes after original reservation) and our table still wasn’t ready. Management was clearly disorganized. We waited close to an hour and then left. We were seated at another restaurant (Sport and Social) where the restaurant was well run, prepared for business and organized.
Terrapin Tap Room posted us ad a no show on Open Table, which just isn’t true. We were there with our full party and they could not seat us one hour after our confirmed reservation. This establishment is poorly run. We round not return and would not recommend to others.
This is the second time I’ve eaten here. Food is delicious, but BOTH times my tray was put in the table and the top bun fell off. Once on the table and once on the floor. It was a very busy time and server did their best.
Early dinner before a Braves game...good food...good times...great atmosphere just before the game
We got there early and had the place to ourselves. Great food, nice service.
We had a very large group, even larger than we originally planned, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful.
Went to Braves games Memorial Day 2018. Great Terrapin beer selections and only Six dollars(plus tip) for a great beer! Be prepared to show your event ticket. you will be asked to provide ticket to get back in the seating area since the restaurant has entrances from both outside and inside the stadium. Went to eat next day for lunch and food was great. Park in Red parking deck during non event times and parking is free.
