The staff was superb & attentive without being intrusive. Everyone who came to our table seemed to enjoy their role and they worked well together as a team. And the meal was over the top. It was difficult for us both to decide what to get because everything looked so good. After starting w a perfect Old Fashioned for me and one of the several non-alcohol mixed drinks for her, we started with a fried mushroom appetizer— “fried” isn’t the right word — technically it was fried, but the mushrooms were not battered — I believe they were cleaned and then dropped into hot oil for just a few seconds. Not oily at all, and juuuust cooked enough. She enjoyed a perfectly pork chop and I was knocked out by their “Crabby Scallops”. The lemony sauce with forbidden rice was something I’ll definitely go back for! Finally, for dessert we had creamy flavors of sweet, a hint of salt, & caramel-roasted nuts. (I won’t stay it was the butterscotch pudding because you wouldn’t believe me!).
