Everything was delicious and reasonably priced and we tried pastas, gnocchis, octopus, meatballs… we can’t wait to go back and try more. Music was a bit too loud.
We always have great food and service! Thank You 😊
Everything was perfect Service food. Just the noise level was high for my liking.
Great place for a medium-sized group to get together. Good food. Nice staff.
The food was very good. We didnt love our desert but they took it back without an issue.
It was lively and quite busy.
Waiter is really nice and kind. Food is delicious and it seemed to stay in Naples, awesome!
The overall experience was very VERY good. The pizza is truly napolitanean, so are coffee and dessert. The staff is very kind too. We will definitely come back
Great staff-great Pizza! Great dining atmosphere and the drinks are great.
Great experience for a birthday. Beautiful Christmas tree still up, lovely music, nice lighting.
Best pizza in New York! Wonderful staff, great ambience. We love this place!
Went to Ribalta primarily for pizza, but also for the experience of some authenticity. The wait staff was a mix of very attentive/forthcoming as well as distracted and “green”. OT reservation mentioned a birthday but no mention was made, there was some “drama” at the front of the house when we arrived but were seated immediately. No issues with service, beer on tap was good and our server was top notch. Appetizers and pizza all-around, the dough seemed a bit heavier than we remembered from prior visits. Can’t call it a bargain but on the NY pizza scale it’s a strong contender.
We reserved a table for five at Ribalta largely because other reviews had commended its outdoor heating. Unfortunately, the heaters barely provided any warmth and, partially due to the metal chairs, we froze out butts off over the course of our meals, which of course went cold immediately once we were served. Even worse, NO ONE ON STAFF WAS MASKED and, when we requested that our servers wear masks, they refused, saying it wasn't the restaurant's policy. Moreover, the restaurant didn't check vaccination status in direct contravention to New York State law. Overall, a cold, dismal experience.
Good service, food is amazing. Both male and female hostesses are incredibly welcoming and professional. Had a huge impact as first impression! No consistency in beverage service, taste and presentation.
Our friends recommended this place and it did not disappoint! Amazing food and service! The pasta was so good and we got the charcuterie plate which was delicious.
Best pizza in town
Delish! The pizza was fabulous doughy, saucy, Neapolitan-style goodness. It was a little crowded so the energy way a bit high and the drinks/food took a while. But worth it. We got the white sauce Ribalta and the red sauce Briganti, a perfect combo. The staff was super nice and we left very happy. The rest of the menu looked great, too. Would come back.
Great food. Great service.
This is my favorite Neapolitan style pizza in NYC. They do a nice job with salads and pasta too ... but the pizza is the highlight for me.
Made a reservation three weeks in advanced. Walked in they said we would get a great table. Gave that table including 4 tables away so I had to walk up to tell her she gave away our tables. She then proceeded to say we didn’t have a reservation. We sat next to the speaker and where the waiters and waitresses got plates and forks and knives… couldn’t hear a thing. Oh and all the food came out cold. My bill even showed a charge as they had to keep it under the heat (the food) never seen that before.
Good job. Big expectations. Worst dinner I’ve had in NYC in my life. Yes I’ve lived here my whole life.
After the Holiday Market in the late afternoon, we went looking for a sit-down restaurant. None to be found as all were take-out only or closed until dinner. We eventually stumbled upon Ribalta. What a find! We were welcomed and seated immediately. The server was moderately attentive, and the food was outstanding as to tase and selection. We had the black truffle gnocchi, the salads with shrimp, and the calamari and shrimp appetizer. All were excellent. We were too full for pizza, but it looked very delicious as we spied other tables. I highly recommend Ribalta!!
Casuals and fun. Very good Italian food and pizza.
good pizza and the veal scaloppine also good. sat outdoor, a bit unconfortable
I’m sorry this place was absolute trash. It took us 30 min to get seated after our reservation, and that was only with repeated asking on our part. Drinks took 30 min to come, one was wrong, and the correct one didn’t arrive until after we finished eating. When we finally got our food (1 h 10 min after our reservation), we had no silverware or napkins. We didn’t want the food to get cold (it was pizza) and we weren’t able to get someone’s attention until we were finished eating. Had to choose between eating cold pizza or eating with our hands. Finally, they left the wrong drink on the check, and I knew it would be another 10+ min for anyone to come back, so I went inside to ask for it to be taken off. They were accommodating, accept some random lady starting talking to the guy doing the refund, and they were busy hugging and catching up (with my credit card in his hand) and he finally returned it with no word while still hugging this woman. I hate this place I can’t even lie.
did not honor reservation, and were rude and dismissive when questioned about being seated. Did not stay.
Worst dining experience of my life. We waited 30 minutes at our table and nobody even acknowledged us. My wife finally stood and had to go get a manager to take our order. Our drinks took 30 minutes and our food more than an hour. We ordered two pizzas. They forgot to add prosciutto to my wife’s pizza and then brought cold prosciutto on the side after we flagged it for them—they still charged us for it. My pizza was burnt and tasted like coal, simply disgusting. Truly the worst dining experience of my life without any exaggeration.
The pizza is ridiculous-great. The noise level/loud music is deafening. If u go with a group, u will e lucky if u can hear the person next to you, let alone across the table. Sit outside instead!
Love it here! Best pizza, can’t wait to come back! It’s always a regular spot for me
Fantastic food, friendly environment. We will return
The outdoor dining is incredibly loud, especially the chairs. But food was incredible & servers were super nice
Overall this was a great experience! The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly.
The heat lamp above o table was not working so it got a bit chilly but I suppose that’s dining outside in December for you. Other than that I would give Ribalta Pizza a 10 out of 10!
So delicious! If you love margherita pizza get the Doc.
Best original Italian pizza in NYC!
Solid pizza! Great choice by Union Square.
Everything was great. Had a lovely meal. Would definitely go back.
Service was suspect. Pizza was ok, was expecting more

Pizza was okay. Nothing special for the price.
Gluten free pizza was great
