Went for my husband’s birthday. Everyone was pleased with their entree. Calamari as an appetizer was delicious. My husband was presented with a complimentary dish of chocolate mousse for his special day. Definitely a place I will return to.

Had a lovely dinner of Mushroom Ravioli here last Saturday. Noise level was good, but we were seated in back and picked up some unavoidable kitchen noise. Service was outstanding- just the right amount of attentiveness and customer care.

We arrived late and were seated right away. Our server delivered dinner fine, but water, bread and butter delivery was intermittent. Had the best bottle of wine we shared in a long time and all pasta dishes were hot and delicious. Desserts were great.

We had a pasta bolognese, a chicken picatta, and a fish special. Each person enjoyed their meal, and a glass of wine. The restaurant was not busy at all, so we were able to have a relaxed meal pre-theater. Our server must have been on a break, so we had to ask for the bill when we were ready to leave. All was good. We'd likely go back.

This restaurant turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was generous and tasty, and the ambience kept our small group there far longer than expected. It was not busy (Saturday, 12:30 lunch), so it was a perfect opportunity to enjoy our time together.

This was not really an Italian restaurant. It was some sort of a place that featured Chicken Teriyaki and Hot Bacon dressed Slaw on its menu as well as pasta dishes. The food was not very good overall with the exception being the excellent bread and dipping oil&vinegar which was served before the food we ordered. Service was friendly but very slow. The lemon drop cocktail I ordered was lemony sugar water. I hate to write a bad review, but if you’re looking for Italian food this is not the place to go.

I love the location, the authenticity of decor and old school feel of the restaurant. I was able to use the booth (with headphones 🎧 ) to do business call. And then eat delicious 😋 Italian cuisine and catch up in person with my friend. It’s nice when service is so classy you don’t have to worry about being rushed out of the restaurant because you took too long. It’s better than co-working. Because you only pay for the food. Though wouldn’t work for private calls as there is lack of privacy at venues like that. When privacy is concerned it’s better to book private booth and pay the price tag.

We ordered two lunch dishes. But we found out that our dishes are part of a lunch set promotion once we finished and was about to walk out of the restaurant. We saw a flyer stick on the front window panel. I feel being decieved because we did not get the food that we paid because we ordered the same kind of dish but we were not given the set lunch food (appetizer or soup and dessert). So I walked back to the restaurant and talked to the server about the set lunch promotion. That server's respond played innocent: he said, "you didn't know that (lunch promotion)...". I told him that there was nothing mentioned in the menu. I questioned him that he did not let us know it even we ordered the dished mentioned in the lunch promotion. That server did not respond to me. I was very disappointed about being deceived. I also felt that the food taste was not as good it used to be. My dish was chicken masala. I would not invite my friends to come to this restaurant again.

Server never checked in with us after taking our initial order. We had to bother busboys even the hostess to get service like getting more drinks, water and our check. Food was mediocre and the tables were extremely cramped. Added a star because the other service people were so sweet and attentive. Please retrain the younger tall male waiter on service!

My work experience with a large corporate group. Today was unfortunately not good. Several of our 20 person group ordered the lasagna. Apparently… They ran out of lasagna. Instead of owning up to that, they forced two of our 20 attendees to wait until almost everyone else was finished eating their lunch to present them with a plate of food that was obviously not lasagna. It was just ridiculous. As the corporate executive in charge, I tried have a conversation with the manager about this and response he completely failed to acknowledge the issues and was belligerent in his response to our legitimate concerns.

We had a great time celebrating a dear friend's birthday. Jon (the owner) and his staff did a great job as usual. The Veal Picatta was outstanding with an abundance of Capers. Can't wait for our next visit!!!

The food was good. A bit lukewarm, but it was good. The chocolate mousse tasted very pungent and just a little off. But for a good Italian meal, in downtown Mt. View, it is the place to go.
