The staff here pay so much attention to service quality that if the food is not presented within 15 minutes of ordering, the patrons get the food for half the price. Riverwalck Saloon is just a few kilometers away from a famous ski resort known as Pohopoco Creek, The Appalachian trails and water rafting spots also make it a place frequented by tourists and sports enthusiasts. The restaurant also has a board-walk where the patrons can enjoy a walk amidst the mountains while their meal gets ready. Riverwalck Saloon's specialty is its smoked meat and flavorsome BBQs. There are also fire pits and a selection of revitalizing beverages to choose from. Specials include BBQ-loaded baked potato, loaded French fries and classic shrimp cocktail.

We've been longtime fans of the Riverwalck and visit frequently. Within the last six months or so, they've changed their menu quite a bit. For a while, their menu was under construction and they offered very little options. It seems as though the menu is starting to make a comeback but food options are still quite limited. The restaurant setting and atmosphere is really unique and appealing to those that do not like to be stuck inside on beautiful days. It's one of my favorite restaurants for this very reason.

Service was exceptional - we lingered at the table long after we finished to enjoy the twilight atmosphere and never once felt rushed by the staff. Food was good, though we stuck to bbq sandwiches mostly. The brisket nachos were also very good. Our out-of-town guests really enjoyed themselves as we ate on the outdoor deck. We will certainly be back!

The current menu has fewer selections than when I have dined here in the past. That was disappointing. The service was great!

Great hangout, right on the river. Good food. Good service. More to see in the daylight. Can't miss the old pickup truck out front and Jurassic Park type entrance. Not far from Jim Thorpe, PA. I really liked this place and will definitely be back. Not a place you would normally find on Open Table. The best way I can describe it is if Disney's Wilderness Lodge was a biker hangout.

Great outdoor settings, friendly staff, fun atmosphere. If the food was half as good, this place would be a destination restaurant. Stick to burgers and sandwiches. Nice bar and drink options. Would return for drinks and the outdoors.

Fajitas are beyond greasy and the meat was nothing to write home about. Best part of the fajitas was the lettuce tomato cheese and sour cream bowl. Beautiful outside area, however the bugs take over...so wear bug spray if you want to eat outside. (Not something you plan when going to dinner) Waitress was pleasant. We were a bit demanding and she was very nice. Overall I wouldn't go there again simply because of the food quality wasn't there.
