   Fabulous food and service. Went for our anniversary and was greeted at the table with a personalized card from Rodney and the staff. Wonderful way to start our meal. Food was excellent and our server was very attentive without being obtrusive. Would highly recommend for any special occasion.

   We were very disappointed. The service was very good and the restaurant itself was charming as it was an old house but it was so loud that you couldn’t even hear yourself think let alone carry on a conversation. I was hoping that the food would’ve made up for the noise but unfortunately the food was only mediocre, for the price we expected the quality to be better than it was. Out of the 4 of us the only meal was pretty good was the lamb chops, the Roasted Duck, the glazed cedar planked salmon and the Grouper Piccata was just okay.

    Friendly staff excellent service . Good variety of entrees we got the prime rib special it was cooked perfectly, the potatoes that were a special dish I was disappointed in the lack of flavor the cucumber salad with palms was excellent. I wish they served a variety of bread it was very hard and could of been softer. Huge desert choices I got a delicious cream brûlée with a variety of berries light and tasty after a big meal. I thought it was very thoughtful too that they handed me a happy birthday card when we checked in and s candle on my desert!

    The ambiance and our server (Elizabeth K) were fantastic! This was my second trip to Rodney’s and the food wasn’t quite up to par this time. Did not enjoy my pasta and meatball dish, no real sauce just tomatoes…and the portions on the sides were very small for the price of the meal.

    We have been here several times throughout the years and it has always been a great experience. Last night we celebrated my 50th birthday and they had a lovely card signed by staff, that they presented as they seated us. Food and drinks were amazing.

    Excellent service and food. The Chef and his staff are proud of what they do, and it shows. We were traveling (and often travel) from Indy to Knoxville, and Rodney's will now be a stop on that trip. Truly Excellent!!

    Extremely pleased with our meal. Food was outstanding from starters to entrees. Scallop appetizer was excellent. Wife had the grouper and I had the duck. The port wine sauce for the duck was great. Almost desert like finish. Had the grits as a side. Not my favorite. Loves the goat cheese salad. All in all great meal.

    Food was good. Ordered a bottle of wine and server asked if we would like a taste first and we said sure. They charged for the taste of wine even though we ended up buying a bottle.

    The food was amazing. One of the best filets I’ve had. The chef made time to visit with guests and was very personable. A large selection of bourbons and not shy with the pours make for an excellent value.

    We live in Lexington & have been wanting to try Rodney's for several years. I wish we would have made the effort sooner! Such a pleasant experience! The staff is welcoming and the service efficient and attentive without being intrusive. The food is delicious with a wonderful array of savory appetizers, salads, entrees, and fabulous desserts!     My wife and I had reservations and stopped while traveling for our anniversary weekend. From the moment we walked in everything was perfect. We were greeted and sat at our table immediately on arrival. There was an anniversary card waiting for us and it was all five stars from there. The service was exceptional. We both had the filet and is was phenomenal! Like melt in your mouth phenomenal with the perfect amount of char. The chef personally came out to check on us and make sure everything was to our liking. I can't express how good it was and how much we enjoyed it. We will definitely be back!

    Chef Rodney has a great palette. I enjoyed the mushroom soup, a fresh and interesting salad and the tuna special. Every dish was well composed and flavor balanced. Though I was satiated, I had to try the cheesecake and enjoyed every last bite! The restaurant, set in the dispersed rooms of an old Victorian home were subtly decorated, warm & comfortable. Servers move efficiently in the background - never distracting yet always available to the guest. Thank you, Chef!

    The place was beautiful and staff were very friendly. I ordered the lamb chops and they were perfect. My wife is a vegetarian and her options were very limited. They could take the meat of one of the pasta dishes or order a salad. At the end of the day, her pasta was good but nothing more than what we would’ve made at home. I enjoyed I my meal with 100% satisfaction but if you’re a vegetarian, your options are very limited.

    This was, undeniably, one of the very best meals I’ve ever had. I travel a great deal for my business and have dined at some of the nations best restaurants and I can say the dinner I had last night at Rodney’s was one of the best. I had the lamb chops and my business partner had a the filet. My lamb was seasoned perfectly and grilled to a perfect medium rare; the sauce was fantastic and accompanied the lamb perfectly. My guest very much enjoyed his filet as well. We had carrot cake for dessert and it was just beyond amazing.
