    Friday evenings immerse yourself in our quiet mahogany and leather piano bar. Watch the fish lapping the salt water aquarium as you listen to Mr. Dennis Begoray playing your favourite piano medleys. Indulge on our sumptuous set menu which changes every week. All items are freshly made in the hotel kitchen using the finest ingredients available. So good that if we didn't tell you it was gluten free, you wouldn't notice. Music starts at 6:30. Reservations are recommended as there is limited space. Sorry no minors. The menu is also available in the Royal Coach Dining Room and for take out. Hope to see you soon!

    First time there, lovely place, clean neat, great personal service. Smaller selection of food but all done extremely well and nicely laid out. Good value for money, omelette station, waffle station, real cream uumm, thinly sliced roast beef in gravy was tender

    Changed our reservation to remove us from piano room, sat us at a cafeteria type large table, then had another hostess tell us we can’t sit there because it’s for larger groups (they sat us there). So we left, ruined valentines date.

    The brunch was excellent. If there was anything to complain about, it was that they were short staffed (maybe due to it being Jan 1st). The staff did their best. We will go back for sure.

    Had a super experience at Julian's Piano Bar! Dark leather story-book style lounges like that with live piano music are very rare these days!!! The food was delicious!!! The drinks amazing!!! We will be back!!

    Went for the thanksgiving buffet, but some advertised desserts were not available as they ran out. For the price we paid, that should not have happened. Flies on the cheese tray.

    Ordered our favorites - burger and fries which was amazing !! Beef was exceptionally tasty and the fries were large hand cut and delicious. My husband had the buttermilk fried chicken which he said was very good. We should have eaten in the Piano lounge - same food but a live piano player Friday evenings.

    We arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation time, and were seated promptly as the buffet was not especially busy. It was near closing time. The room was very peasantly decorated with tables well spaced. The server was very efficient and courteous. The food was extremely good and the variety was very good as well. A very pleasant dining experience for our day trip to Edmonton.

    I just wanted to mention the service staff member that serviced us was excellent. The problem was there was not enough of them for the amount of people at the restaurant. There was a private function at the lounge next to the restaurant that the service staff were looking after also which meant very slow service.

    I have eaten here before and had wonderful service. I saw our previous waitress and had a nice chat with her at the buffet. However, this time we had another waitress. Other than offering us coffee, she did nothing else. I had to go to the bar and pour water for our table. I would have liked tea but wasn’t given the opportunity to ask. Our former waitress was able to tell me about gluten free option at the buffet because I could not locate our own waitress to ask. I had to go to the bar to ask for a bill and pay. The waitress gave me the impression she did not want to be there. I understand that it was busy but the experience was disappointing.

    We were in Julian's on a Friday Night with a set menu. My father said his steak was inedible. My wife and I enjoyed our food but the portions were small and the price high.

    Steak sandwich and buttermilk chicken were great and decent portion, but the bbq rib plate was very small (only six short ribs for $28!). Waitress was unfriendly and provided the bare-minimum service. Will try the buffet next time and sit in the much nicer lounge to eat.
