   Roy's was the obvious choice for us for our anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had a bottle of the house Malbec paired with Bri and the Canoe for Two as appetizers. And the dinner got better with each subsequent course. We'll definitely be back to celebrate our next special occasion.

   Was outstandingly perfect! The service was really good and friendly, food was fast and tasted so good. They even did us a huge favor and served a dessert we had 13 years ago at out first visit, which was an ice crram sandwhich from the Kids Menu. Can‘t say anything but gorgeous and really recommend this restaurant!

   The food was good but took about an hour to get our entrees and another hour for our desert to come out. This is unacceptable especially when we ordered our desert at the same time we ordered our entrees. On the flip side of that though the staff was really nice and our waitress was very friendly and helpful, just wish they didn't have to catch/grow the ingredients to make our food. The ambience was a little louder than something you would want for a date night but would be good if you are looking for a place to take the whole family. Overall it was an okay experience but not something I will remember.

   My family and I were over for lunch yesterday, hosts told us that we were going to be all the way in the back for more privacy. At first wow we have the place all to ourselves. But then my son verbalized that he likes being outside where he can see the scenery. I wonder why they placed us in the back? Is it because I have 3 kids (1 child just turned 1). Are we going to be noisy? Food is great though. Fyi we’ve been coming here for years!

    Hosts need improvement. We arrived 10 Minutes early and did not feel welcomed. Then a host called us as we were waiting outside. When we checked in with the hosts inside, they did not know who we were. Strange. After that, dinner went well.

    Wonderful dining experience after we moved to better seating. Initially we (2ppl) were taken to a congested area of occupied large and small tables and limited spacing between. The window blinds in that area were closed due to late day sun which made it even more cave like. We asked for a different table and they accommodated us quickly. Our waiter Jesse was excellent and the food was fabulous! The blackened Ahi tuna melted in your mouth and the butterfish was delicious!

    We have dined at Roy's for special occasions in the past but this has to be the worst quality as we both ordered the 3 course Al Fresco Prix Fixe: I had Braised Beef Short Rib which it was tender but not enough sauce and worst of all the vegetables were old (beans shriveled up, carrots old, brussel sprouts old). Spouse had Macadamia Nut Hawaiian Fish but fish was too dry and too fishy smelling. We are very disappointed in the food quality for dining cost of $150 for both. We are very sure we could have dined elsewhere for much less and better quality.

    The blue fin fish was prepared perfectly that we went back for seconds. The wagyu done to win you over and the crème brûlée excellent! The entertainment was very enjoyable and waiters just super. The crowd moved around well and everyone friendly. Basically all the food was ono.

    Excellent food, excellent service!! Everyone very efficient, friendly accommodating and the manager is A+. He walks around to all the tables and talks to the customers, which I love. You can see that his team really respects him and wants to deliver their best work. So much pride exuded in this restaurant all around. Highly recommend. We will be back.

    My mother in law and wife are vegan. We asked if the chef could make a tofu stir fry. Our server Scott asked detailed questions to ensure that we got what we wanted. The dinner came and they loved it. Perfect combination and portions of tofu and vegetables. We will come back again and again for that entree. Service was top notch. Sat outside by the bar where a musician played love Hawaiian music.

    Wonderful high end restaurant at the golf course. The crab cakes were amazing. I had the lamb chops which were huge and came with purple sweet potatoes. My daughter had the garlic shrimp which was good. The deserts and sushi are top of the line. Service is wonderful.

    This was our first visit to Roy’s. Our server recommended fish for me since I love fresh fish. I order the combination meal of two kinds of fish, however, the Butter Fish was outstanding. My husband ate the short ribs and they were also very good. Our server was excellent! She not only made recommendations to us, but to other customers which was very nice and helpful. Thank you for making our dinner experience fabulous. Prices are high for the amount of food you get. We did share a Caesar salad, ordered Spring Rolls for an appetizer, and after our meal ordered their Upside Down Pineapple Cake. Their signature drinks are a pineapple infused Martini and Mi Tie. We decided to order some wine instead only because we had been drinking cocktails at the pool and didn’t want anything sweet.

    Have been bringing guests here for many years. We were disappointed with two things that happened this visit. First, our server did not share with us the correct fish (swordfish vs Mahi) of the day which impacted our menu decision-making. Second, it took us 30 minutes to pay the bill as the credit card system being used was not working. To our amazement, the server suggested that our credit card was not being authorized (in front of our guests) when in fact it was Roy’s system that was not working. Ultimately, the manager had to write down our information and get the credit card approval a day and 1/2 later. On the positive side, the Fixed Prix meal is always a hit with guests and we appreciated the birthday dessert for our guest with a birthday. Hopefully the CC system is resolved and the server has been retrained on appropriate interactions with guests.

    Best meal we've had during 8 days in Maui and 4 in Ko Olina. Our awesome server Elan and his assistant just made for a wonderful experience. Our food was superbly prepared. Elan's recommendations were spot-on. Husband loved his Chilean seabass and son thought his boneless beef short ribs were so good he ate every bit of the huge portion. I went with the butterfish and malnutrition crusted Mahi, but which was excellent but wish I had just gotten the butterfish as it was possibly the best fish I have ever eaten! Elan recommended the pineapple upside down cake with vanilla ice cream which was incredibly light and fresh, and brought us a lovely complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Drinks were also very nice including the best decaf coffee I have ever had. Thanks for an amazing 30th anniversary dinner!

    Our first visit at Roy’s Ko Olina location was a nice, quality experience. This time, I was completely disappointed, specifically because the appetizer plates set before us were visibly dirty. That basic lack of attention to detail was very surprising to us considering it is such a renowned establishment. I immediately brought it to our server’s attention. My disappointment was then magnified when he returned and replaced them with more dirty dishes! I had to look at the drink coasters to confirm we were actually at Roy’s! 1 such incident is a mistake. 2 of the same in a row indicates that you just don’t care. I have a choice in where I spend my hard-earned money entertaining special guests, friends, and family. My expectation of sharing a great dining experience left me completely embarrassed, and as a result, I’m done with this location.
