    Food - mostly on the salty side. Complimentary bread was hard to bite to. However, love the Caesar drink. Service - took awhile for our drinks to arrive, as well as the food. There was hardly people to serve so there was no reason for the delay. Ambience is great! But would prefer a different chair to sit on.

    Hi LianP, Sorry you found the meals salty and the bread hard to bite, Depending on what you had would depend on the salt levels, all our steaks are seasoned with an in house made steak spice and we do season them well as generally they are quite thick and the seasoning needs to penetrate, if you are sensitive to salt it always helps to tell your server, we do not get salt complains very often, the day you were here unfortunately we were short , two of our senior servers, it does happen from time to time, therefore we had to limit tables. Thanks for giving us a try, sorry we came up short in your expectations .

    My food was not warm enough. A round table would have been much better and given the room we were in, I think the restaurant should consider getting rid of one of the 2 rectangle tables in it and replace it with a round one! We were super hot but a guest opened the door and it was wonderful then.

    This restaurant is amazing! The food was fantastic, service was excellent and the view was beautiful. We shared the t-bone for 2 and it was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are looking for a place for a special occasion. Beautiful!

    We visit Rustica often. I wish there were more fish options, however, I have not tried the salmon yet. I have had the 2 fish specials. I was not a fan of the Monk Fish but my husband liked his. Mine seemed to have a vein running thru it making it fatty and tough. As always, Isabella took very good care of us. I asked for the music to be turned down and everyone thanked me. It was far too loud (and bad music) when we arrived. I love getting dressed up and going out for dinner as did our guests, however, I know this is beyond your control, Disappointing to see how casual some guests arrive to your elegant dining room. I actually do not mind but our guest said "I guess we are overdressed." My son just explained it is the golfers so yes, of course.

    Hello Rita, as a steak house you will find a lot of meat items, on our menu, while we try to make a conscious effort to have some variety for all customers , our fish feature of the week is what's available fresh, Monkfish know as the layman's lobster is and has been very popular, there isn't a vein running through this fish it's just the belly portion of the fillet, we do not have specific dress codes, trying to be accessible to all.     Had an amazing anniversary dinner! This is a local gem, a great place for steak and seafood (try the fresh oysters). It's our favorite place for a special dinner or a fun dinner with friends.

    Can honestly say this is one of the best meals we have ever had. 12/10 for the food! The chef is incredible and provided a perfect culinary experience. The server was superb and didn’t miss a thing. Cannot wait to come back to enjoy another special occasion at Rustica!

    Amazing Steaks and outstanding service. All together with an amazing view on the mountains makes it a perfect spot for dinner. Also Kids are very welcome there!

    A truly outstanding experience!!! From start to finish! Our server, Stephanie, was phenomenal. She went above and beyond to ensure our evening was special. The wagyu beef and salmon are INCREDIBLE. Gorgeous scenery and ambience!

    Rustica is a neighborhood gem. We live in SilverTip so what a treat to be able to walk to a 5 star restaurant with one of the best views in the world. Isabella our hostess and server was perfect. The music is soft which we truly appreciate. Too many restaurants have the music too loud which discourages conversation. We can recommend without equivocation.

    Before COVID we would go to Rustica yearly. We drove 6 hours to Canmore to experience the worst ever. Put at a table by the back door so everyone walked by all night. Took forever to get a glass of wine. Medium tenderloin was virtually rare and had to send it back. It was returned after the rest of us were done. Way over priced for what we experienced. Sad and very disappointed. I could go on but you got my drift.

    Hi Dave sorry to hear you were unhappy with everything, Unfortunately the back area of the restaurant does get a lot of traffic as the door to the patio is in the same area, especially in the summer, on our open table app you can choose your table . On Saturdays with higher demand it does take a bit longer, Sorry about the steak , unfortunately it was a mix-up in the kitchen , where the wrong one was plated, if you ever do return we would be more than happy to give you a complementary dinner.

    View, atmosphere, service were all great. The elk buco was fatty and tough and my halibut was overcooked.

    Hello, Thank you for your feed back, Ossobuco by nature is a a tough cut of meat and does have to be cooked over a long period to tenderize and I apologize if it was still tough, I don't recall any feed back from the server regarding it being tough, also did you specify you wanted your Halibut cooked a certain way, generally we cook to medium\medium well if not indicated as a lot of our clientele do not like Medium Rare fish, we ask our servers to ask our customers how they would like it cooked.

    Took my wife her for our 25th anniversary dinner. Nice, quiet restaurant overlooking the golf course and the mountain. Food and service were outstanding. Vegans and vegetarians may find the menu choices a bit limited (my wife and I are neither, but our daughter is, so we pay attention to those options on menus).

    The food was exceptional after it came out correct the second time. We had to wait 2 hours for rare steaks to come out well done. No onsite manager, and the head chef would not come out after requested. That was not fair to the server doing the best she could in the situation. It really turned what could have been an amazing experience poor.

    Our server was Isabelle, who was awesome. Knowledgeable about the food and local experiences, she helped make it a memorable experience. Food presentation and taste was excellent, however the depth of the wine selection is mu h more extensive than the menu. Worth the trip!

    Food and server were stunning! Perfect wrap up from a 18 hole round. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the dessert came out on a plate with happy anniversary wishes, that was a nice touch to a already great meal. Ambience was so soothing and relaxing.

    We quite literally had the most amazing meal- the scallops and shrimp, the chateaubriand- the dessert! All fantastic! Our server Isabelle made the night though- couldn’t have asked for a more attentive, caring server! She was the icing on the cake! We will definitely be back.

    We went 18 months ago and everything was amazing, we have been trying to get back to experience it again. But this time our bill was twice as much and the food was not nearly as good as our previous visit. Sadly disappointed that our 300$ meal was mediocre at best. Also was called twice during our meal to ask if we were going to show up for our reservation, when we were already there and checked in.

    Hi Heather , sorry you were unhappy with your meals, while there are no excuses unfortunately we have been experiencing a shortage of staff which has effected the speed of service, as for pricing of food ,especially beef has gone up drastically in the 18 months since you were last here , unfortunately its something we have to pass onto the customer. If you would like to come back and give us another chance to show what we can do , let me know and I would happily comp your meals.
