Rustico is the quintessential neighborhood pub on the edge of Old Town Alexandria. The menu features seasonal, hearty American fare from a wood-fired oven and grill, including pizzas and rotisserie meats, along with other rustic cuisine using the freshest local ingredients available. There’s also no mistaking Rustico’s love for barley & hops! The bar’s focal point is a custom galvanized inverted T bar with 30 brilliant taps book-ended by two massive coolers holding more than 400 different types of ales, lagers, ciders and stouts.

It was a great brunch solid menu and tasty food. Avocado toast and chicken sandwiches were very good.

Came in for brunch while in Alexandria. We had a reservation, but the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived. Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the risotto tots, which were good. Midway through eating them, we requested a side of the marinara sauce they serve with the meatballs, based on another review I'd read. We liked that even better. We kept the leftover marinara sauce and used it on the crust of our brunch pizza. My husband felt there could have been more brisket on the pizza. However, the crust was hands down the best crust I've ever had. The crunch was amazing. I'd definitely come back for their pizza!!!

Love Rustico. Pizza is awesome. The Risotto tots dipped in the sauce from the meatballs is excellent. Should sever a side of the meatball sauce with the tots.

This spot is a great neighborhood restaurant in Alexandria. The food was very tasty and the service was good. This was a great spot to visit!

We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday at Rustico, which marked our first visit. Opting for the Restaurant Week menu on a Monday evening, we were pleasantly surprised by the diverse and tempting options. Our waiter at Rustico was attentive and eager to please, but it was clear he was still learning the ropes. He was quick with refills. We believe he will get better with additional experience. The Fried Cauliflower and Cheese and Herb Risotto Tots were a delightful start. The Steak and Fries proved to be a satisfying main course. For dessert, we shared the Brownie Sundae and Donuts, although the brownie was unfortunately dry and burnt tasting, detracting from the overall experience. The ice cream helped to mitigate the issue somewhat. Despite the dessert mishap, we enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend Rustico to others.

Good choice of drinks....nice white pizza....great service from all waters, thanks! We could not hear the waitress, music was very loud. The manager took it down a bit, thank you!
