Bridget was wonderful!!!
Our 46th anniversary dinner was very special at The Rusty Scupper. The table by the window overlooking the harbor was perfect. So was the food, the suggested wine and excellent and friendly service.
This vaulted to one of our top 3 restaurants within 30 minutes of us.
Very nice buffet with excellent oysters, freshly shucked. An abundance of seafood, coupled with an incomparable view, made this a great experience. Our server was distracted and did not take our orders as quickly as she should have.
Delicious! We had the crab dip, cream of crab soup, cream of seafood soup, coconut shrimp and fish n chips. Our server Bridget was very attentive. The view was spectacular.
We had time to kill before a flight and could not be happier to have stopped in! We all opted for the crab dip and crab cake sandwich and loved every bite. Incredible bloody Mary’s too. It was my first pit stop in Baltimore and I’d come back just for another meal here!
I had a great meal at rusty scrapper but my service wasn’t good at all. My waitress brought our appetizer out and still didn’t bring our waters. Also my boyfriend asked for mashed potatoes with his meal and they came out with roasted potatoes and we had to send the meal back and wait for it to come out correctly.
Meal was extraordinarily delicious, however, table service was terrible.
Food was excellent but our white wine was warm. Great views of the city and water!
Very nice. They had a big event and yet still had a quiet place for everyone not part of it. Service excellent and food wonderful. Would recommend to friends.
Inexperienced wait staff.
The food was ok but not great in my opinion. The lobster was not 1.5lbs and not worth $60. I think the menu is a little over priced for it's moderate level of quality.
Excellent restaurant for Sunday Brunch as well as lunch and dinner.
The Sunday brunch is a retrial, for me and two other co-workers, every other Sunday. We look for to those days. The atmosphere, the scenery, the food, as well as the staff. Simply Awesome.
Good Experience! The shrimp cocktail was up to par.
We were visiting Baltimore and experienced two different seafood places. Jimmy’s famous seafoods, which has no views and is frequented by many locals, and Rusty Scupper. Rusty Scupper has a great location and awesome views. We were lucky and got a corner table with a phenomenal view. They have a good menu, obviously heavy on the Seafood side, and a good wine selection. We ended up paying about $200 for an appetizer, two entrees and a bottle of sparkling wine (Domaine Saint Michelle, WA - great value and great pairing with seafood on a hot summer day). I would call that overpriced.
My Halibut was not as fresh as I had hoped, and the $11 option to add crab meat was a scam - I got two tiny scraps of crabmeat. The “Cheasapeake Seabass” (actually Chilean Seabass with blue crab meat added) my wife had was better and fresher than the Halibut, but crabmeat was also a joke.
The appetizer was actually a great dish with goat cheese in the form of cream cheese spread with chopped walnuts and figs, but it was served haphazardly without crackers to eat it. And I was a little perturbed by the waiter, who discouraged me to take the dish. Weird.
So overall great location and views, good wine selection, food ok but not outstanding, and service so-so. For seafood without a view, I would go back to Jimmys Famous Seafood because their crab cakes and Lobster Bisque were fantastic, and they also had great service. But for a romantic date night, Rusty Scupper is the better choice.
Everything was great, perfect!!
The location a great with a nice view.
Service was friendly, the food was good but not outstanding, crab cakes very good, calamari was greasy and so-so. Dessert was too heavy (key lime pie was more like a cheese cake)
good food. good drinks. great view.
both glasses had chips in them though and server credited our bill!
Great experience as always. If you haven’t been to the Rusty Scupper before you should consider it. Their prices are high but the service and ambiance are fantastic.
If it wasn’t for the waterfront views this restaurant would have only been average. There’s nothing unique or to be desired. The food was actually pretty bland for a place with sooo many feet many reviews. I’d say people should check it out only because of the location and ambiance. Red lobster has more flavor, but do go for the ambiance and great service. Just know that ambiance and service will cost $$. I wish the food matched rh place.
We visited on Saturday 8/4/2018. Made a reservation on Open Table. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar/lounge before dinner. My gin and tonic was well made. Our table was at the wide open with a gorgeous view of the inner harbor & marina. Our server "Tolis" was terrific! Friendly but unobtrusive, present when we needed him, knew the menu. I enjoyed the Chilean Sea Bass - large portion of tender & tasty fish with just enough vegetables & potatoes to accompany it. My friend enjoyed seafood pasta (I think it was fettucine), looked like a large portion. This was our second visit to Rusty Scupper & we will definitely be back for a third visit!
For the prices of the food, the service and the quality of the food was not up to par.
Enjoyed the team's professionalism from Steven to our server. Thanks for the great experience. Will recommend this restaurant. Hope to return again soon.
Great view and service was very good but seemed too anxious to move ordering before my companion and me had relaxed with our drinks. The only real concern was I ordered chocolate ice cream. When it arrived it tasted like chocolate/peanut butter. At first I thought is was the accompanying cookie. When the server asked about the taste of peanut butter, the waiter said he needed to speak with the folks in the kitchen and hurried off. He came back and apologized and told us the cbocplate had been recently replaced by chocolate/ peanut butter. We explained how serious this could have been if I had a peanut allergy. The waiter understood the seriousness of the matter and took the cost off the check and brougwere very ht a new dish of vanilla. This was very nice but if I had been allergic to peanuts,it could have been catastrophic. We were very surprised that the Scupper's management could have left this happen.Hopefully, the menu will be updated and correctved in order to avoid an allergic person having a significant, negative reaction.A truly surprise ending to an otherwise very nice evening.
Awesome food. Great service from Logan and his trainee Jake. Offers were so good we never used Restaurant Week menu. Logan's intro of specials was too good to pass.
Very nice waterfront location at Inner Harbour Baltimore - Service was wonderful - Food also great but not inexpensive - Had the Salmon BLT and a lobster roll for lunch. Also the cream of crab soup was really good. Great for a special Occasion. Happy Hour is a wonderful way to get some great choices in food and drink for less.
New job new city
Our server was excellent, the food was excellent, and my three year old was entertained by the live piano and the beautiful view! Many delicious options. At the end of the meal, we left my daughter's favorite bunny and our server made sure it was safely stowed away until the next day when I could retrieve it. I will be dining here again!
Very nice place. We were seated immediately. Most of the seats were full, but there wasn’t a wait for a table. The staff members were very nice and mannerable. Our server was attentive, and gave us good suggestions for what we should try. The food came out promptly, and was very tasty and well seasoned. The view of the water was absolutely beautiful. It really added elegance to the restaurant. I will definitely dine here again.
The maker was very welcoming and our server Sofi was fantastic.
I love the place, the food was amazing and the créeme brûlée was the best ever
It was my first time at the Rusty Scupper and I absolutely fell in love with it! My table was perfect, my view of the water was beautiful, and my server Dan was very attentive. I can't wait to come back! Thank you!
Had a great time-awesome service, great ambiance. We did the restaurant week menu and really got great value. Great place for a date in the inner harbor
Hubby and I had not been to this gem in years and decided to dine there for our date night. The food was great, the view of the pier was beautiful, the ambience lovely and our server Tavon was quite a gentleman and an amazing young man. Looking forward to dining there again.
Everything was fabulous from when we walked in the door. Just as we remembered it from years ago. I would highly recommend The Rusty Scupper. Next visit to Baltimore will include dinner there once again.
We enjoyed the Sunday Jazz brunch! This was amazing. The service was excellent, music was great, and the food selections were awesome! There was so much to choose from and everything was top quality. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the meal and can’t wait to come back for another Sunday brunch at the Rusty Scupper!
Food was excellent as well as the service. Great views of the harbor.
I took my mom to Brunch at RS for her birthday. Great food! They offer standard breakfast and brunch items like omelet station, carving station, waffles, etc. they also have oysters on the half shell and unlimited mimosas and a few other limitless drinks. If definitely visit Rusty Scupper again!
Be a little more restrictive on their casual dress code...regardless of whomever, the person may be or fame status... dew rag should not be allowed but it is very great restaurant
An EXCELLENT experience! Rusty Scupper sent their FREE shuttle to pick us up at our hotel, just in time for our reservation. Once there, in the time it took to grab a Stella at the bar, our WINDOW SEAT table was ready! Service was GREAT, food was OUTSTANDING, atmosphere was PERFECT! Once we were done, there was time to stroll around the marina before catching the shuttle back!
