Ruth's Chris is a steakhouse but the steak was the worst part of the meal. It was tough, there's no way it was a prime steak. Some of sides were really good but we were looking forward to a good steak

We had terrible service. The bottle of wine ordered was delivered after our appetizer and salad. Steaks were served incorrectly. Ordered the Ruth’s Classic which come with the dessert. Our server brought our check without asking if we wanted our dessert. Just dropped the check and left. We had to ask for the dessert and then it was brought to go.

We had a reservation for 5pm and we did not receive our meal until 7pm and alot of waitting for anything. I was celebrating a birthday day dinner with family and friends and I was very disappointed. We also had a situation with a food that was ordered for a vegan and was given bacon on a baked potato asked specifically no meat amongst other things. For the price of food in this establishment i really expected more.Really put a damper on my bday celebration.

We like Ruth’s but this dinner was off. We asked and were given a nicer table than the one initially offered. The steaks were bland and not cooked to our requested specs. We had to ask for silverware while our steaks got cold.

All I can say is… WOW! The staff really made us feel special and welcome our first time. We celebrated my birthday and our table had adorable little birthday confetti on it once we arrived and was so sweet. Our server, Josh, was so kind, knowledgeable and so calming! He made out experience wonderful and not to mention the food was INCREDIBLE! As first timers- we were so pleased. Can’t wait to go back!

Our party of 4 dined at 8:15 on Monday May 1st. My wife and I arrived at 8:05 and were asked to come back at 8:15 or wait until full party arrives. There were only approx. 4 tables with guests in entire restaurant so not sure why we couldn’t get seated. Got to our table at 8:15 , ordered a bottle of nice Cabernet . Waited about 15 minutes and we’re told we are out of that so ordered another Cabernet . Waited about 15 more minutes and was brought at Chardonnay . Sent that back and waited another 10 minutes on the correct wine. The entire experience was just like this. Of the other 4 tables that were dining at least two stopped at front desk to complain about the horrid service. This was our first and last at this location so not sure if just an off night or if this is common. Worst experience at a fine dining restaurant ever

This was a birthday dinner for my boyfriend. It was to say the least horrible. Ruth Chris has gone downhill. The steaks were just ok and the side were disgusting. Waste of money…. The waitress was the highlight of the entire experience! Never going back.

"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."

Amazing food! After seeing the other clientele, Was really surprised at how it stacked up compared to other steak houses downtown. The one complaint I have is that if you are shooting to be on level with Capital Grille, Vince Young, Eddie V’s, you have to instill or enforce a dress code. Went in dressed up with my husband. Ordered a $200 bottle of champagne. Looking around, people coming in in shorts, t-shirts and baseball caps knocked the restaurant down a level. Makes you feel like you are in a Salt Grass or Texas Roadhouse. You guys are above that. You may lose a customer or two but you will re-attract the high end ones that will make up for that.

Wonderful night out! We are Ruth’s Chris fans. They are still and have been our favorite steak and seafood restaurant for many years. We dine here mostly for special events, but also sometimes when we are simply craving a high quality steak and service - we don’t live very close to the downtown Austin location, but the 35-40 min. drive is worth it and their valet serves saves us from fretting about getting to find downtown parking. In Addison to steak served sizzling on a hot plate, our family likes to share the BBQ shrimp and spicy shrimp appetizer, Caesar or chopped salad and side of mushrooms or bristle sprouts. Sides are large - easy to share with our family of 4.

The food was absolutely amazing. I got the stuffed chicken, which was heaven and my husband got the fillet which was also amazing. The staff is so friendly, and Shelby our waitress was absolutely incredible.

As always, the food was spectacular. The cost has continued to increase and now is at a ridiculous state. Thirty-nine dollars for a piece of chicken breast without any sides. Dinner for four with no alcohol or soft drinks, no appetizers and one dessert was $363. I am left speechless!
