    We had high expectations for our special dinner to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday. But a lot fell short. Our menus were not correct and contained old pages crossed off. We ordered an appetizer that never came. Our water glasses were not refilled in a timely manner and maybe once. And the steaks were not cooked to our requests and we weren’t asked if they were. The whole meal felt haphazard. We were told more than once something was an extra but wasn’t. We were charged for a drink we didn’t order and had to point it out. We have been customers of the newer one in Melville and think we will be sticking to that one.

    We have dined at Ruth's Chris steak houses in other parts of the country. This one is on par with the others. It was Labor Day between 5:00 and 7:00 and the restaurant was about one third filled. I hope that it is not failing. The food was good, not great for the prices. The NY Strip that I ordered contained way too much gristle and fat. My spouse had crab cakes and thought they were excellent. The service was excellent across the board.

    For what acclaims to be a high-end steakhouse; my experience at the Garden City location on long island in New York was extremely lacking. The service was lackluster, Applebee's does a better job. The elemental things such as bringing out the food with silverware or cleaning the table cloth were not done at all during the meal. The bread served was just a simple baguette, not toasted, sloppily sliced and once we finished the one role we were given the plate was taken away. In such a restaurant the bread should be refilled and there needs to be a simple complimentary salad offered. As a chain restaurant the service and lack of any complimentary items were that of a cheep food establishment akin to a Denny's. For a restaurant that bills itself on being for the upper middle class to have a night out I think it came in way under par. Try your local steak house as a recommended alternative. I would recommend to save your money and go to a Longhorn steakhouse or an Applebee's, you'll get similar tasting food and at a fraction of the price, with better service and it will be local to your area.

    This was our first visit since the Garden City location was renovated. We decided to sit at the bar and have a drink. The bartenders were very busy but still attentive and friendly. The host came by to remind us of our reservation. We were greeted by name. Our waitress, Belinda, was exceptional. The one time she had disappeared for a bit she apologized. You cannot ask for more than that when you are taking on a bunch of tables at the same time. The food was good. My wife's steak was excellent as was my sea bass. We ordered a baked potato and it was overcooked. Hardly as good as we've remembered. That is on us though as we were asked by Belinda and a manager minutes apart as to how we were enjoying our meal. We should have said something. The ambiance here in the main dining room is brighter. Lots of booths in the bar area as before to accommodate couples and more now in the main dining room. We did not know if we'd like the renovations. After seeing all of the changes, we felt that it was a definitive improvement. We will definitely be back!

    The Westbury NY location had undergone a needed face lift, transforming it into a chic 21st century interior. The music choice of jazz was pleasant. The food and bar menu have undergone a downsized selection from the original menu we ordered from for 25 years. We always order stuffed crabmeat mushrooms while sitting at the bar awaiting table seating. The order last night was horrible. We were served small mushroom caps (they were ALWAYS jumbo size) and each cap contained less than a teaspoon of crabmeat. Instead of bread crumb topping like orders past, there was a glob of cheese on each small cap to compensate for lack of crabmeat. Never ordering that again. The 8 oz filet (cut in half to 2x4 oz filets) with six grilled shrimp was perfectly cooked to medium and the shrimp were not overcooked. The shoestring fries =no steak fries on the menu= were ok. No more onion rings!!! I wanted the warm chocolate cake for dessert and was informed they do not have it available. On a Saturday night??? The decaf coffee was delicious. The cheesecake with berries was scrumptious. Our bar staff and server/assistants to our server were superb and service was their priority to ensure that we were loved. You can't always get what you want but if you try sometimes you just might find you get what you need.

    Beautiful updated atmosphere. Service was excellent we had Caitlin and she was top notch. Food was delicious. We had a tough NY strip and when we brought it to Caitlin’s attention she and Mgr addressed the issue immediately and a new steak was brought out with new sides. They even went further by bringing out 3 complimentary desserts. We will definitely be back. Customer service A plus.

    My husband and I have been coming here every year for the last 10 years for our anniversary. We have never had a bad meal! I especially love the remodel. The design is classy and the atmosphere was perfect for a date night. I did see a few patrons in the restaurant with baseball caps and T-Shirts, they should not be allowed to dine if they are not in dress code. Other than that the food was amazing as always. I highly recommend the Creme Brulee!

    Great date night spot. Nice and quiet to have a nice meal together. We went for our wedding anniversary and they put cute little anniversary confetti on the table. The waiter was very nice. When they brought a steak at an incorrect temperature he was prompt to fixing it and was apologetic. He was very nice. The food , drinks, and desserts were delicious. Would definitely come back!
