The medium well cowboy steak was rare and couldn't order the wedge cut steak fries anymore
We always enjoy our dinners here. This time I had the 4 course meal with Caesar Salad, a Petit Filet with Shrimp, Creamed Spinach and Bananas Foster for dessert. It was good. Steak was excellent. Love the Creamed Spinach, but it doesn't hold the heat. Not anyone's fault...just the way it is. Caesar was o.k. - a bit too much dressing for my taste. Fresh bread was piping hot and excellent. Yes, I would return.
Delicious steak cooked to perfection! We ordered the Brussels sprouts as a side, but those were disappointing as they weren’t cooked properly. The server took care of that so that was good. Very friendly staff, great service. Will definitely come back!
Was there for my anniversary dinner and the food was fantastic as always. My wife and I go to Ruth Chris whenever we’re in the mood for a great steak!!
Thanks for a memorable evening!!
21st Anniversary dinner
The value for the money is not there. The restaurant is overly priced and most of the ratings are because of our server/ host Anthony who did a fabulous job.
As usual great service and food. David our server was exceptional and attentive to the right level. Will be back.
It was amazing, the staff were kind and friendly and did everything necessary to accommodate us
Great food and very good services !
The Steaks (Bone-in Rib Steak) was cooked perfectly.
Both my husband and I ordered the seasonal 3-course special. We thought the portion would be smaller, but we were both very full after.
1. Great space, tables far apart, feeling easy and great for conversation.
2. Steak was very tender. We had 8 ounce fillet with shrimps. I had romaine wedges salad, which was delicious.
3. Good presentation - we ordered mashed potato and garlic broccoli for the sides. They came in two good sized bowls so we shared.
4. We ordered coffees to go with the dessert. Then we found out there was no extra charge to the coffee.
1. My husband’s crab soup was too salty.
2. My husband thought the cheese cake should be more solid.
At first, we waited a long time until someone took the order. They said they worked as a group, so several waiters helped us during the evening. Some were very friendly, others were quiet.
Overall, not a bad experience. It was very expensive even though we did not order any wine.
A welcome addition to the Toronto airport dining scene. Typical RC execution here - everything is excellent - both food and service.
We had a wonderful experience. We were celebrating a birthday and our waiter Manny was absolutely wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour which our table enjoyed. The food was above and beyond and we left feeling extremely satisfied and looking forward to our next visit.
worst Ruth Chris Ive ever been to. small, unattractive, sparsely filled with poor caliber patrons (someone in cutoff jeans and cheap plastic flip flops was seated near us). The service was decent but the food was just ok and over priced for such a mediocre dining experience. I remember when Ruths Chris was a treat for special occasions. I havent been in a few years and now I feel like it has changed and not in a good way. Im sorry for the negative review but it just seemed like going to outback
Since I travel alone I often dine alone when I am out of town. I had an early reservation and the dining areas were empty when I arrived. The first table they chose for me was a high top in the bar area. The second table was not in either of the main dinning rooms and the feeling was like being in a large wide hallway close to the kitchen. I don’t know what value judgements are at play here but for once it would be nice to be seated at a nice table and not the worse table in the house. Given that I had a reservation one would think they would have a better table reserved. In any event I don’t think he customer should have to refuse a table or complain just to get a decent table; especially when the restaurant is empty.
Fabulous service & food.
We were excited to go but was disappointed in the experience. Staff was pleasant except I found our server a little abrupt. I asked how large the lobster bisque was and his response was “well it IS for one person”. That didn’t exactly answer my question and it was bordering on rude. The food was good... except for our steaks! Hence the low rating especially given the price of the meal. They were bland and almost tasted like it was getting old and not in the good way. Because it was my husband’s birthday, they did surprise us with a slice of cake which was thoughtful. However based on the steaks, we would not recommend.
The food was good, I just didn't like the choices on the menu, I didn't like the fact that I couldn't order a 12 oz steak without having to purchase the 22 oz steak and split it with my date. Then when we get our steaks, there was no extras around the plate except a slab of meat. Places like The Keg automatically add vegetables to your plate to create a better dining experience. I thought the manager was great and very informative, and as a good gesture, gave us complimentary grappa with a cheesecake. All in all, great tasting steak, but no fillers.
Celebrated a few birthdays and a graduation and had an amazing meal with wonderful service! Mazi our server was so attentive and provided top notch service. The meal was phenomenal. Highly recommend the garlic mashed and side mushrooms. Along with the divine Filet Minot :)
Overpriced and gimmicky. Ingredient quality is good, just not a fan of everything (steak and sides) being soaked in butter. Your tastes my vary
The server was sarcastically rude, I think her name was Acadia. I gave a fair rating for the server because the chef because the chef was nice.
We were seated promptly and served quickly. The food was excellent and piping hot. Enjoyed the steak - great Striploin. Mushrooms and Broccoli au gratin also really hot and tasty. Ordered four sides between three people....just enough.
Delicious desserts, especially creme brulee.
Service is always great.
Will return again.
Not worth the money. Brussels sprouts were partially burnt. Crispy shoestring fries were not crispy. Lobster Mac and cheese was runny.
Calamari was great. Ribeye steak was good and hot.
The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend the restaurant.
First timers! Almost completely perfect evening!!! Amazing service, even for amazing food! Best steak I have ever had! Had bread pudding for dessert which also knocked my socks off!
The only complaint is that the table beside us had kids which were loud and just left to wander around by their parents. Not the restaurants fault at all. But in hindsight we should have asked to move tables when the hostess seated us, but our Vince & Lydia were fantastic so I’m glad we didn’t and endured the kids
All good except TV's were not working in the bar...and I got the wrong detailed receipt. Otherwise, good food / service.
Service was poor; we had to remind the waitress to bring the necessary items
Greeted promptly with welcome smiles
Friendly waiter, took our drink order, returned with drinks and explained menu
Salads were fresh cold and arrived quickly
Steaks were done to perfection.
Plates were hot and kept food warm throughout meal
Banana cheesecake was awesome
EXEMPLARY! I went there a 2nd night in a row. If we were staying longer I would have been there several more times. HARD TO FIND EXEMPLARY SERVICE. Food is 5 star and atmosphere is top notch.
Great new relocation. Decor is nice and inviting, food is as always consistent. Pricing is in line.
Overall great new location, If there is anything that surprised me was how uncomfortable the chairs are, they are a tad higher than expected and you are staring down on your food, and the armed chairs are very very narrow ( airline narrow ) so most men will have the rails of the chairs digging into thighs.. there is also armless chairs.
Great job on new place, chairs if improved could make it a solid 10/10.
Have enjoyed many a meal at Ruth's Chris throughout the US - first time in Canada. Restaurant lived up if not exceeded to RC's standards - great service, exquisite food; would definitely recommend and visit again.
Classy and cozy! Its seasonal deal is very affordable and delicious!
Everything was very good. However, the bread was a bit over cooked and hard on the bottom. That is why I cannot give "outstanding". Service was very good, as well.
Would go back.
Waiter was a little too chatty but the food and ambience was perfect!
.the experience was great right from the beginning to the end. Our waiter was awesome.we would highly recommend but bring your appetite the portions are large
Food is fine, but not worth the price. Was about ~$60 per entree. The food isn't bad, but it also isn't high end steak house exceptional either.
First time at RC, it was fabulous! I was treated as if I was a vip or important guest at the restaurant. Waiter (Donald) was amazing, very attentive and polite. His name was quite memorable because of his approach.
Great atmosphere, our waitress was very friendly and cheerful, and the food was excellent! Sword fish was cooked to perfection. Our waitress even brought a great suggested dessert for us. Recommended for sure!
if price is not an issue its hard to beat the Chris Ruth experience, bar none.
