    Our waitress (Alysisa) was engaging and very responsive to all of our requests. The meal was a hit. My wife ordered the Steak and Lobster special and my son and I each ordered a New York Strip. The meat was prepared to perfection and the seasoning was outstanding. It's December, if I managed this location I would buy three of four wreaths to lighten the dining room and I would find some Holiday music that could play softly in the background. Food and service - a solid 10. Ambiance needs a softer touch - 7

    We had a wonderful experience for my mom's 94th birthday celebration. The waiter was attentive and great, and the environment is always excellent. It is always a pleasure eating at this restaurant with my family.

    Food is always very good at RC - Lobster add-on was a bit disappointing - shrimp add-on is better. Always good service - friendly and attentive. Always a solid good meal.

    Everything was perfect! Our reservation was at 5:15 but we checked in at 4:30. We were sat before 5pm! The food and service was immaculate. Our server Alyssa was wonderful and very attentive. This is our favorite restaurant for date night and have decided to make it a thanksgiving tradition for the following years to come. 10/10. Might I also add the strawberry lemon drop is the best I’ve had at any restaurant.

    The service was excellent, the Thanksgiving meal was excellent and the ambulance was just right. Our hostess was really friendly and pleasant. Our waitress, Olivia was the best!! She was very friendly and efficient and represents the best of Ruth’s Chris. She is the reason my wife and I will always go back to Ruth Chris. She helped make this a great Thanksgiving. 5 Stars!!

    This was a very disappointing visit to Ruth’s Chris. We had come five years ago on Thanksgiving, the meal was phenomenal. This year they sat us in an annex room in the back of the building with no windows. The service was very poor. Our food came before they cleared our salad plates. We had only one server. As he placed our food in front of us we all sat there holding our salad plates. A second server came and removed them leaving us with no utensils or side dish plates. A manager came by to check on the food, but we advised him we had utensils to try it. No one came by to check if we wanted a refill on our drinks. Eventually we got plates and utensils but by then our food have been sitting. The steaks did not come out on a 500° plate sizzling. The Thanksgiving turkey dinner although tender was very salty. 5 years ago they sent us home with a small additional Thanksgiving meal as a snack for later. This year they did not. The small bonus take away meal was special and something we very much looked forward too. Ordinarily, when we go to Ruth’s Chris, the meals are outstanding. It’s unclear if the restaurant expanded too much or just accepted too many reservations hence the kitchen staff could not keep up. disappointed loyal customer.

    Calamari was fantastic. Short rib ravioli great, but the truffle crust on the steak is too fake tasting. Don’t do it, if you’re going to spend this much on steak, there are several that are much better than this.

    The service and atmosphere was very nice. My husband and I have eaten at this location a few times in the past. Our experience was 5 star, I can’t say the same about this visit. My husband meal was all he expected. My meal unfortunately was not. My ribeye steak was ordered medium. It was dry, lacked seasoning and a little hard to eat. My baked potato was warm and old. It was overwhelmingly loaded with toppings, which gave the impression the cooking staff was trying to camouflage the fact the potato was old. We will visit again, because we are convinced this was maybe an off day for the kitchen. The next visit if it is still the same experience, I will bring it to you to the attention of the manger.

    The Filet was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. I really enjoyed the lobster tail. I expected the augratin potatoes to be sliced not cubed and more flavorful. I will try dinner there again, maybe it was a off night

    We celebrated my husband’s birthday here, and it was enjoyable. They seated us in a quiet and separate room, which was weird at first but it was nice to be away from the noise. The only thing about our seats we didn’t like was the wine cellar behind us - a waiter came to our table twice and had to go around and grab a bottle. Our waitress was lovely. We got a filet, lobster, asparagus, salmon, and shrimp. My child got the chicken with French fries. We finished our meal with ice cream and cheese cake on the house for the birthday boy.

    Loved the host, Verve’ Cliquet, and she had proper timing on talking and while the food was in front of us. The manager, Sydney, was terrific being the server and very nice to talk to. The room was a nice intimate size with table to sit 4 or 2, perfect. Will be back next year for the champagne event.

    1. Reservations were for 6, it’s nearing 630 and they haven’t seated us yet. I request to separate from my original reservation and be seated elsewhere. Bri the hostess wasn’t happy about my request and immediately had an attitude 2. Sydney the manager assisted in us being seated 3. Karan our server was the epitome of how a server should be. 4. Appetizer-crab cakes, very mushy, wet like they weren’t cooked thoroughly. 5. Wife ordered her steak medium well, it was well done and dry, no problem it was corrected We enjoy Ruth Chris monthly, this by far was a bad experience and made me wish I listened to my wife who wanted to go to Bourbon Steak.

    Always a solidly good meal - hot, fresh, tastes good with attentive service. The restrooms are not well maintained - that’s the only thing I could suggest for improvement.

    Honestly, the steak and the salad were great. The sides, au graton potatoes and creamed spinach, were bland and lacking taste. Our filets were ordered as "medium", but they were served to us on the "well" side of medium. They were still very good, but they were a little bit dry because of the overcooking. The chocolate desert was excellent. We always enjoy eating at Ruth's Chris.

    Always a great steak!! The lobster mac-n-cheese is awesome!! The bread is always fresh and delicious!! The chopped salad is sooo good!! No complaints here .. except it rips a hole in my pocket every time we go .. BUT .. you get what you pay for - for sure. Our server was the greatest .. but I've never had one that wasn't. Overall, definitely a 5 star restaurant!!

    I’ll start with, maybe the lady who sat us was just having a bad day.. but she was super rude. Once we were sat, we waited 17 minutes for a waitress between taking our drink order and delivering the drinks and taking our food order. I ordered my steak well done, it was medium rare. Also, where I was sitting, I got to watch the kitchen staff pull vacuum sealed steaks out of a box sitting on the garbage can and they also sat the bread dough on top of that. The best part of the night though, listening to the table of 5 next to us talk to the waitress about how wince they spent so much on their steaks, they wanted to steal a picture off the wall (not a small picture, it was about the size of a wall poster) to which the waitress told them that she didn’t see anything and if they did it, do it within the next 5-10 minutes because her manager said was tending to an issue at the bar and not see them do it. Their waitress laughed with them, made a comment about making sure she still got a tip, then walked away. One of the people in the party went to the picture on the wall and realized it could be taken off, at that time another employee was cleaning a table and seen them and told them for $50 she would help them. We laughed, thinking they were kidding, until we were waiting on valet and seen them walking fast out of the restaurant with the picture from the wall.

    The food is always amazing at Ruth’s Chris. However the server Kara made such difference, she took such good care of us, she was so sweet and professional, she made you feel like you were her long lost friends. I can’t say enough about her, she is truly and asset to the business. The younger blond manager who use to work in the bar area was awesome as well(sorry I don’t know her name), greeted us and came to check on us. She really was hustling to make sure everyone was enjoying their experience. When we were talking about going somewhere nice for dinner we were looking at places nearby and decided we never can go wrong at Ruth’s Chris. Kara deserves 5 gold stars, I couldn’t have asked or gotten a better server anywhere in Nashville.
