    In my opinion, the taste of the food is different. This used to be my favorite steakhouse of the many steakhouse I’ve had. It’s no longer true. Last night I had the steak and shrimp combo and the shrimp were very much over cooked and the steak just tasted like I was eating meat. The next time I visit, I will have the sea bass. I no longer want to have the steaks there. I was at Ruth Chris prior to this on NYC about 6 weeks ago, and I also didn’t enjoy my food. I wish my review were different.

    As always Ruth’s Chris did not disappoint with its offering of steaks and accompaniments, but I was completely shocked at the quality of service that we received. From the host/ check in process to the table was poor, it was a birthday celebration and it was not acknowledged in any way by our servers, chefs, or management… that was a surprise. The steak and crab cakes saved the day, but we will reconsider visiting this location in the future.

    It was awesome as usual. One reason for the reduction in the food quantity was the lobster bisque. It tasted burned this time. That wa every disappointing but the rest of the meal was excellent and the service was excellent.

    The food was amazing, the manager was very accommodating after I spoke with her in regards to the host when we first arrived. Reservations were made and we checked in however guests who had no reservations were seated b4 us and when this was bought to our attention, we were seated outside next to guest with no reservations, this was a bit upsetting.

    Our family dine at this restaurant pretty often, I was made aware of ownership changes and this has definitely affected the portion of food quality of service that we were accustomed to!! I was very disappointed!!!

    Everything was great! From when I first arrived to the end. The front staff was friendly and so helpful. Our server was so polite and polished. The wait staff was so nice and sweet. The ambiance was such a vibe. This was my first visit to Ruth Chris and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious.

    Yes, very impressed with the food. It was absolutely delicious however, a service was awful.  they took in several people who had reservations after us, and we waited until I said some thing.  our waiter was very polite, but very unattentive.  we expected something very intimate as we’ve experienced at other Ruth . Chris’s, however this place was loud, and the cops even had to come in for some altercation.

    Overall, our experience with Ruth's Chris was disappointing. Food was fair; crab cakes and rib-eye steak were good, but sides (creamed spinach and garlic mash potatoes) were cold and potatoes lacked garlic flavor. The restaurant was crowded and noisy. Our server, Cam, neglected to place our order, and we had to wait an hour for our food. We were comped an appetizer, and our glasses of wine, however.

    My husband and I love Ruth Chris. We look for it wherever we travel. We were excited to see that there was one in New Orleans on our visit there. Last night we had an incredible server. One of the BEST waiter we’ve have had EVER!!! I’m only going to share his name because he’s worth sharing… Jerome is his name! (could be a distance cousin) Do yourself a favor and ask for him if you have dinner there.

    While the food is incredible, the atmosphere is cramped and annoyed. People kept bumping into our table and the service was bad. Not worth the money.

    This visit was a little off. My petit filet was way over cooked. The lobster Mac and averse was bland and the mashed potatoes was stiff as a board. I was disappointed at the good quality this visit. It’s usually very good.

    The food was good. Our waiter was very forgetful. We had to ask for refills and when we did ask, we had to ask twice because he would forget. We were there celebrating my daughters 18th Birthday and he didn’t even sing Happy Birthday or bring out a complimentary dessert 😟

    I’ve been to this location several times and this was the first time my service was this slow. I believe my server had more sections than normal and was not able to check on us to refill drinks and see if we needed anything

    Had a 12 pm reservation on Mother's Day and we were seated 40 minutes late. By the looks of the waiting area and the rate at which they were seating parties, they clearly overbooked (they opened at 11). Upon seating we got a lackluster apology and no excuse for the wait was offered. Food was good and our server was friendly, but for price we paid I expected more in restaurant cleanliness and appearance (floor was dirty, napkins had holes in them, and restrooms were not tidy). Our total order included 4 mimosas, 1 beer, 2 salads, 2 petit filets, 3 sides and 1 dessert. The bill came to $320. Won't be going back.

    My experience at Ruth’s steakhouse was so great! I had a filet and garlic mashed potatoes, and also a red wine. All was so tasty and awesome. And the servers are so kind !!

    Ruth's Chris New Orleans rarely disappoints. So it was no question that we would attend their Mother's Day lunch. Bad move. The waitress took at least 10 minutes to introduce herself, she forgot our sides, and the drink refills were slow. Our steaks were drastically overcooked. This was not the experience I promised my mother. We spent most of the time reminding each other that everyday won't be a great day but we will make the best of it. I'll go back but I'll definitely be very specific with my expectations.

    Steak was a nice cut but not prepared to my order. The restaurant was very loud because of large groups in the dining area. Seems large groups should be placed in private rooms. The loud noise was very annoying.

    Started ou with slow service in bar. After seated for dinner, excellent service and great quality of food. The wine list was expensive. I would have preferred to buy a bottle of wine under forty dollars. It was on the noisy side. Overall great experience!

    This maybe a steak house, but please order the stuff chicken with cream spinach or garlic mash potato. Also, pan seared Chilean sea bass with cream spinach. I have to give credit to our server.. he was extremely efficient, attentive and courteous. I love this restaurant it’s great for a special nigh out.

    Business lunch at 12:45 with a fairly empty restaurant. Everything took forever. Left at 3pm. Chicken on salad was clearly microwaved or out of a pouch. Not grilled. 12 top table and meals came out sporadically over 10 minutes so items were cold by the time all were served. Waitress rarely checked on the table. Only staff attention was refilling drinks.

    My uncle was not having the best visit to New Orleans and our experience at Ruth's Chris really helped turn that around. Our waiter, John, was so friendly and professional. We really enjoyed having him as our server.
