    Food and service were excellent. Bar needs to carry a cherry vodka so my wife can get her cherry cosmo. High end restaurant and bar should be able to carry a cherry vodka. (Effen black cherry vodka is the best)

    Service is always great we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and they decorated the table, gave us a card, gave us our seat recommendation, a glass of champagne and free dessert great experience!

    I've dined at Ruth's Chris steakhouses across the country for decades, and pretty much came to take them for-granted. Here in the Portland, OR area, our steakhouse preferences are El Gaucho, Ringside and Ruth's Chris. We prefer the crust at El Gaucho and some of the accoutrements, but our last family meal came to over $1,000. Ouch. We like Ringside but it's side-dishes are pretty limited and it's pretty traditional formal dining. My stepson prefers Ruth's Chris for the side dishes, so we went there for his birthday. Our steaks were great, the sides superb, and our waiter, Kyle as good as it gets. And, while not cheap, our bill was just under 60% of our last visit to El Gaucho. A real win-win!!!

    Went to celebrate my boyfriends birthday, they decorated the table for us and even offered one of the best cheesecakes on the house and decorated to perfection. 10/10 will be returning

    The Tastemaker Dinner series of special events is a good chance for the kitchen to stretch its legs and get creative -- how creative depends on the libations being paired against. This time they featured celebrity tequila label Casamigos, in the form of a parade of bespoke cocktails instead of straight pours. The paired dishes were somewhat uneven: the starting tetela and featured entree filet hit the spot; whereas the tortita ahogada, birria, and cocadas de chocolate were merely adequate. And the cocktails were pleasant, but except for the chocolate-bitters tequila Old Fashioned were nothing particularly noteworthy. It might seem petty to downvote a "good" dinner, but considering that this house is capable of "great" dinners, it would be a disservice to hand out totally free passes.

    We frequent Ruth Chris several times a year. Most of our visits are around a special event. This time is was a birthday. They had a welcome birthday card and sprinkled some festive birthday sparkles on the table - a nice touch. We are older and split the filet.shrimp dish - very good - perhaps a little salty but delicious. Had our Manhattan and Old Fashion - very nice. Really giving 4 stars this time as the service seemed a little rushed, and then birthday desert (Thank You RCSH) took some time getting to us. Service was OK usually better than OK. Not complaining, we'll be back again! As a somewhat frequent flyer and Open Table user I suggest RCSH has a track on who comes when so the question of "have you been here before' becomes welcome back to RCSH..
