One of the most important aspects of sushi is the way customers interact with the chef. At our sushi bar we offer Omakase: the customer leaves it up to the chef prepare one piece of fish at a time, which is seasonal, elegant, artistic, and uses the finest ingredients available.

Real sushi takes a lot of time from the chef dedication and passion.
Torii has it secrets of rice preparation and demystify the seafood sashimi grade that is suitable for raw consumption. The menu consist of hot and cold tastings. Along with sushi, sashimi, yakitori, and tempura. Features dry ages such as beef, fish, and poultry. Omakase based on seasonal items. Customize customers' orders according to preferences and food allergy considerations.

We did their omakase and wow, some of the best sushi I have ever had. Every single thing we tried was amazing. And the service was very impressive as well. Will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a good sushi spot in the Houston area.

Customer service was INCREDIBLE here and even that wasn’t better than the food. My husband and I celebrated our first day anniversary and so glad we chose this particular Japanese restaurant to enjoy some fresh and delicious sushi! We haven’t been going to the location due to multiple issues in the past but we decided to give it another try after a few years away. The service was great everyone was so kind, friendly, & timely. The management team was also very kind and we can feel the impact of the new leadership. The steak could use a little help wasn’t as tasty and the seafood items but all in all a wonderful experience.

We had a great time as expected. We are a regular at Gyu-Kaku and to have spent my wife’s birthday there with all of our kids together made it really special. Our server Koii was very attentive to details in our order and kept our table busy with the incoming of food plates. At the end of the day, the smile on my wife’s face made my day so thank you for everything.
