About the restaurant
An American Fine-ish Dining establishment inspired by local ingredients with a dash of artistic liberty and a lot of personality.

Our menu highlights locally sourced ingredients, celebrating our Galveston roots and coastal ties while supporting the Texas farms and Gulf waters that make it all possible. From the daily catch to fresh, house-made pastas, every dish is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the vibrant community around us. Enjoy our local cuisine with wall-to-wall Gulf views - no dress code required.

The Fancy at Hotel Lucine sits neatly at the intersection of 10th & Seawall Blvd - we're about as close to the water as a hotel can get without high tide lapping at your bedside.

About the restaurant
Superica
– “where sunshine spends the winter” – also known as Tex-Mex cuisine served in an Old-West-inspired atmosphere alongside music inspired by Austin.

The cuisine is a combination of 1950s Tex-Mex and the wood grill that has taken the food to another level by way of fajitas and more. An “evolved Tex-Mex menu,” includes the classics: tacos, nachos, tamales and enchiladas plus more intricate dishes such as wood-grilled fajitas and shrimp tacos always served with just-made flour tortillas, all while paying homage to the traditions and recipes that have been a part of the Texas culture for decades.

8 of us for lunch. Queso and nachos were good. Tortilla soup was tasty but would have liked thicker broth. Rice, beans, enchilada very good. Others liked tacos, tacos al carbon, other items. Server Kimberly was very good.

About the restaurant
While breathtaking park views and 40+ chandeliers are enough to make anyone fall in love with this glass treehouse, this dining destination also offers a top-notch culinary experience that explores the flavors and energy of the small towns of Mexico with a Texas touch. FLORA’s contemporary approach reimagines what Mexican food can be – offering familiar flavors and iconic dishes, newly interpreted. FLORA strips away the formality of dining with a focus on clean, organic, high-quality food made with love, made by hand. The stunning brass and marble bar, teeming with tequila and mezcal, sets the tone for a lively social scene and the unparalleled outdoor terrace is the quintessential Houston outdoor dining experience. For parties of 7+ guests, please submit a private dining request. Out of respect for our chandeliers, we do not allow balloons. We ask that you celebrate your special occasions with our desserts as we do not allow outside cakes. We ask that you leave your pets at home.

Everything was great except thru were running super behind. We had a 7:45 reservation and they didn’t seat us until close to 8:30. Seems like they’re accepting more reservations than they can handle. However service was excellent once we were sat and the food was great!

We had fun. I thought it was noisy, but my daughter said it was noisier on the Pleasure Pier and FishTales was quiet in comparison. Our waitress was fun and hardworking. The food was good, but great is still out there. We’ve been eating out every night since Dec. 23rd as family is coming in from all over at different times. And each place we went to I ordered a Balvenie Doublewood and after dinner the Bread Pudding. FishTales had no Balvenie and the bread pudding ranked at the bottom. But, we really had a good time and my fettuccine was just swell.
