Center City
About the restaurant
Inspired by the cuisines of Puebla and Veracruz, El Rey captures the essence of Mexican home cooking. Boisterous and broken-in like a laidback roadside cantina, the dining room hums from midday to late-night. Folk art, kitchsy found objects and vintage movie posters adorn the walls, providing plenty of visual stimuli for eaters digging into authentic tacos, tortas, enchiladas, sopes and more. Add a bar stocked with the best tequilas, mezcals and cervezas and you’ve got a cantina fit for a king.

About the restaurant
Fiesta Mexico is a beautiful Mexican restaurant that is great for everything from dates to celebrations. The interior has stunning archways and fantastic décor. There is a full bar so that patrons can sip on fruity margaritas to go with their meals. Fiesta Mexico is open every day of the week for lunch and dinner. The Fiesta Mexico menu is quite extensive and has great options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The queso fundido and cheese quesadilla are mouthwatering and addicting. Nacho lovers can order options like bean nachos and beef nachos, or chorizo nachos and chicken nachos. Other favorites are the carne asada with tender steak and guacamole salad. Dinner combinations are very popular as well so that diners can try a variety of items like enchiladas and tacos when ordering just one meal.

Celebrating a Fathers Day reunion, we 5 chose here because we share a love for good, creative Mexican fare... esp. table-made guacamole. Our guac and meals were delicious, as usual here. Our server, Sadie, was cheery and helpful in taking and serving our orders... but... Disappointingly, our table became ignored after we ordered sopapilla dessert. In fact, our dessert was served while our table was still cluttered with our meal dishes and silver, and without fresh dessert plates, spoons, etc. NOT GOOD! Our son then sought a waiter and commandeered plates and tools and we shared the dessert over a debris-strewn table ;-( I cornered the on-duty assistant manager (otherwise unseen for the evening) and shared my frustration with the evident inattention to service detail... he said, "I'll pass that on..." Try harder, folks!

Love the decor and atmosphere. Walls have murals and paintings that make you feel like you’re in Mexico. Food was delicious-I had the Cubano sandwich, which was chock full of meat. Also the red sangria was delicious. Great service and a good value. Would definitely go back.
