Rod our server was excellent and very helpful with menu recommendations. Ceviche as an appetizer was delicious. We had the Scalibut and barracuda. Both were excellent and the presentation was outstanding. A must dining experience while in NOLA.

The mama Mia, East Coast oysters for excellent, nice and salty. the happy hour is a bonus. The redfish tartare was a little lemony for me.

When you've served Cajun meals as long as we have, you learn the difference between real food and a bland imitation, and our guests know it too. Grilled, fried or on ice-there's time cooked into every dish and time spent on every home cooked recipe, so that every aroma, every bite, every sip and every gathering is memorable. We've spent more than 80 years creating a recipe for something much greater than a place for a lunch break or night out. It's a place to share (or keep the whole plate to yourself), a place where you always have a seat ready at the table and a place where you're always part of the family.

Overall it was a good lunch experience. Our server was on top of his game with the taking and delivery of our orders. The restaurant was good on timing of the food coming to the table. However even though everything was delicious as usual, the seafood gumbo was served lukewarm. It was not at the temperature it should have been. This was a late lunch reservation for 1:30 PM and was served around 2 PM. I will try another late lunch reservation and order the seafood gumbo to see if it comes at a normal hot temperature. Look for my next review.

We are just a few blocks from the Convention Center. We are located on Lafayette Street, Convention Center Blvd. and Fulton Street.

Our oysters are locally sourced from hardworking, lifetime fisherman from the Gulf of Mexico. Day or night you can stop in grab a cold local draft and watch the art and skill of our oyster shuckers at the Oyster Bar. Stay awhile and enjoy a dozen or two!

Always a reliable spot for a late table. I couldn’t make up my mind so I went with the Taste of Trenasse…the speckled trout, shrimp & grits, & crawfish pie. All outstanding, very filling, & reasonably priced. Emily, my server, was very attentive & did not seem at all bothered by having to wait on a late diner. It’s worth a visit.

We always love this place. Had Frank for our waiter who has been there 20 years. Great way to start. Always get the red fish special and it did not disappoint. Great meal and experience.
