We arrived early this evening and ordered two cocktails at happy hour prices. The Thai shrimp and six raw oysters were delicious. We both ordered the Cork Burger and they were perfect and prepared at the correct temperature. Outstanding service by Emily. We enjoyed our evening. Highly recommended.

Unexpected gem in the country. I enjoy good pork chops, and the Iberico pork rack was perhaps the best I have ever had. I usually favor savory over sweet, but the blueberry drizzle was outstanding.

We went on a Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 and enjoyed happy hour at the bar. Our bartender, Kim, was attentive and helpful. We had a couple of drinks and some appetizers. Everything was great. We had the jerk chicken appetizer and some beach fries and crispy gnocchi-all were excellent. We will return.

It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years.

Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well. Our team has worked hard to connect to our community, and we value our customers. Always a great experience. Tasting tuesdays are so great. The menus are always changing as do the accompanying wines! Also a hard decision which to choose. Seating is very close and if you’re friendly, as we are, can be fun! Servers are professional and friendly and attentive, we love it,
