Small and romantic we specialize in celebrations with family and friends, or just a quiet dinner with good conversation. We are family owned and operated and have been serving our community since 2001.

Drive in to Opera Alley and be transported. We strive to bring approachable food and beverage, a sense of comfort and community, as well as a unique and quality dining experience. We call ourselves a "cafe" in the sense that we are not pretentious and offer a fine dining experience in an atmosphere of comfort and respite.

Parking in Opera Alley, and downtown, can be a bit of a challenge, especially on the weekends, so please be sure to give yourself plenty of time when making reservations to find a parking space, or consider a night off from driving and get an Uber or Lift!! Eat good food often, break bread with friends and family, spend time with those you love, and we will see you soon.

Amazing experience. We’ve been here several times and it’s always a pleasure. Our server was Danielle. My wife and I went as part of our 10y anniversary’s celebration. I went ahead of time to drop flowers off to my wife and Danielle was so sweet to accommodate my request to put them in the table prior to our reservation. The food is great/tasty and the service is top notch. My wife loves this place! Happy wife, happy life♥️♥️

We are a 21+ restaurant and bar. Founded in 2018 by Joel and Matthew and purchased in late 2022 by Becky and Jon, the vision remains the same: Old English pub vibes, high quality food.

We loved The Shambles from the minute we walked in and now we continue the heritage of what was created before us. On the food side: high quality steaks, cut in house. Cooks who have the freedom to create seasonal dishes ranging from foraged mushrooms to house made sausages. To go with your meal, we offer skillfully made, non-fussy cocktails, carefully selected wines, a plethora of beers, sours, and ciders on tap and a a robust non alcoholic selection. We top it all off with warm and knowledgeable service. At the Shambles, you can join us for a lovely date night, get together with friends OR choose to sit at the bar and get an ear full of cheesy jokes and unfiltered chatter We are serious about our service from top to bottom and we can’t wait to serve you!

Against my better judgement, I highly recommend this place. Letting the world know about a fantastic place is great for the business, but ultimately makes it harder to get a table when it’s been discovered. But since I love this place and the folks who work there so much I’m willing to take that risk. Everything they touch is delicious! Not to mention the fabulousl cocktails they create. Service is always outstanding and food comes quick via one of their friendly waitstaff. Enjoy!

The food was so very tasty! With an appetizer, wine and two entree's the bill was over $200! That's a lot pricey for this couple, but for special occasions this will remain on our list of good eats.
