I have been there multiple times all of which have been excellent. Although I have a favorite, which is the pepperoni pizza, there is not one choice I wouldn’t try because of the quality of food.

This is a restaurant providing great plant based food. Included with the set dinner price of $135 is drink pairing- either non alcoholic or alcoholic. The drinks are interesting & tasty concoctions. The fixed 5 course meal includes soups, salads, an entree, and desert. It is very filling. The food is sources from local farmers & is prepared in front of your eyes. There is a single seating time of 7pm, after which doors are closed. You will finish around 9pm. Want good healthy food, a restaurant with a homely ambiance, and a great plant based meal, come here. Parking is on the local streets. Make a reservation.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! My SIL has Celiac disease and it was so lovely to get AMAZING food and not have to worry about gluten at all. And man, can they make killer gluten free bread! All of our entrees were delicious and the staff was super kind and on top of things. Not to mention the killer drinks. Highly highly recommend :)

Southeast Asian
Lake Union / Eastlake
About the restaurant
Wild Ginger has been a staple in the Seattle food scene since 1989 - serving authentic Southeast Asian cuisine, craft cocktails, and more. This location has a hip, modern vibe and an industrial feel complete with a large U-shaped bar, custom lighting, authentic artwork and décor (such as a beautiful multi-colored Indian wedding shawl), Indonesian wood and copper details, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, an outdoor patio, and more. Both the bar and satay counter provide guests the opportunity to see all of the action unfold right in front of them. Enjoy dining outside this summer on our patio!

Excellent service at the bar! Food superb. Bartender went out of his way to make our experience enjoyable (it was our first time in and we were celebrating a birthday!). Unfortunately, this Wild Ginger closes at 8:00pm on Mondays. I’m unsure why OpenTable allowed us to make a 7:45pm reservation?!? Again, the bartender was gracious about asking me for our food and drink order(I had about twelve minutes to make dinner choices), and definitely allowed us to finish our meal while he was closing down the bar. He even had the kitchen prepare a birthday desert while we finished our drinks! Give that wonderful man a raise! He saved the night for us!!!

Sushi
Belltown / Pike Place Market
About the restaurant
Born in Seattle near the heart of historic Pike Place Market, SUGO is Seattle’s first dedicated hand roll bar. Our handrolls meet at the intersection of the freshest seafood from the Pacific Northwest and Tokyo, fluffy Koshihikari rice, and the crispiest nori this side of Japan.

We believe in sourcing our sustainable seafood responsibly so we work closely with local fishmongers who share our commitment to ocean health, ensuring that every bite supports healthy ecosystems and vibrant fisheries. The open-style temaki allows guests to enjoy a wide variety of flavors, in fun-to-eat and visually tempting bites. SUGO aims to reimagine the Seattle sushi experience by taking inspiration and paying homage to the preparation and quality of traditional Japanese sushi but introducing new fusion flavors and incorporating various other Asian and West Coast flavors.

Whether you’re a seasoned sushi aficionado or a curious newcomer, come join us and experience the magic of hand rolls.

Enjoyed the experience overall. The food was delicious, though our reservation was end of the day and certain things were no longer available for us to try. My favorite 2 hand rolls were the Otoro and the Madai. The Hakami a la carte nigiri was also delicious.
