A full-service restaurant and bar. Offers progressively traditional, French Canadian farmhouse vibes. Scratch-made comfort food is handcrafted in our kitchen using fresh meats, produce, signature sauces and dressings.

Menu Musings: Nosh on some of fan favorites for breakfast like French toast, Maple Sausage Stackers, oatmeal creme brulee, simply strawberry crepes. Lunch can be healthy! Many gluten and dairy free options. Try a Mediterranean Chicken (or make it vegetarian with tofu). Vegan friends love the Thai Curry Crepe. Food Network has featured our Rugby Crepe on The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Try it, is it the best?! Come for dinner and grab a burger or fried chicken sandwich. Kanki is always a favorite of ours-Mother’s Day was busy & reservations were a must for a holiday like this. We were sat within 10 minutes of our reservation time & hostess kept us updated. Our server (Darren) & Chef Rickey were amazing. It was extremely busy but server kept water refilled and checked on us several times. Food was cooked perfectly. It was quite loud due to birthday songs & packed room for Mother’s Day but it was a fun meal. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Kanki!

Best Fried Chicken Ever, if you just want to try split the chicken fingers as an appetizer they are also excellent. For less calories the house salad is great pair with the pork shoulder scrumptious and order the unsweetened iced tea it’s delicious think it is homemade. The waitress was kind and attentive and filled all our requests. It’s a very busy place but we arrived at 3pm and while still busy the bit of wait and the meal’s were totally worth it. Hence, my 5 star review!!

Today, we celebrate our North Carolina roots with a made-from-scratch menu focused on Carolina foods in a newly renovated building. We were literally passing through Chapel Hill on the way to Charlotte. Carolina Brewery had availability, so we headed in. So glad that we did. Very comfortable and casual. Despite being crowded we were sat immediately in a comfortable booth. Our serve was great, very attentive and our dinner was delicious. This is a great spot.

Sunday was the perfect day to attend D&B. It wasn’t overly crowded, our server was awesome Ana’s the noise level wasn’t too loud. My family and I enjoyed this visit to D&B to celebrate a birthday.
