The whole night was fantastic. The meal was great, the wine was great. Blossum, our server, was fantastic! We will definitely go back and ask for Blossum.

My friend and I went for the Tuesday night special which was the $2 each taco and $5 margaritas, the drinks, food and service was amazing. I enjoyed how dim it was and also how it had some sense of privacy. The only thing I was really thrown off about was the transparency of my bill, I’m all for tipping my servers but we added up our bill and it was $50 for 2 and I noticed it was showing my bill was $75 this was even before tip, so I asked the server because I was thrown off by this. She then rudely said we automatically add gratuity, I would understand if we were more than a party of 2, but we weren’t. I wanted to ask more questions and get my receipt but after I signed the girl just walked away. That would be my only complaint it’s not stated anywhere when they post their promos, it’s not on their open table site. Other than that their food and drinks were great.

The food was utterly amazing! The bread, mushroom risotto, and crab cakes were wonderful appetizers. The brazed short rib with butter mashed potatoes & sauteed mushrooms and the New York strip with duck fat & black truffle potatoes were excellent. It was truly an amazing dinner. We will be back soon!!

Alfonso Salazar, better known as “Dirty Al” originally started shrimping as a young man with his father and 6 brothers. In 2003, he and his youngest son, Cameron, who graduated from Culinary School, transformed his bait stand into a restaurant where together they have been known for having “The World’s Best Fried Shrimp”! In 2005, his other two sons returned home to help grow the business. A gem of a dining experience on SPI and in South Texas, Liam's offers casual coastal elegance with a five star culinary dishes with a favorite for everyone. A masterful bar tender and complete wine list top off one's dinner. The waiters are friendly and everyone makes you feel appreciated for joining them. Liam's is a much anticipated experience with every visit to SPI.
