The dinner was good, but not great, like I expected. We did get seated where we requested to get seated. Drinks were prepared excellently. I ordered a Flat Iron Steak that was listed in the menu to come with green onions, there were no green onions. The steak was done perfectly and was mouth watering. When it came to after dinner drinks, there were only three ice cream drinks available. I inquired as to the possiblity of unique ice cream drink being made (Golden Cadillac). I was informed that the bar did not have a blender and only served pre-made pre-frozen ice cream drinks. Not what I was expecting for a restaurant of this caliber. The other issue was the noise level. I understand there is little that can be done about that regarding the unique architecture of the business, but if you are looking for an intimate dinner, this is probably not the place to go.

We ordered the ricotta and meatball apps. They were both delicious, unique and filling. Next we had the Cacio e Pepe which is the best pasta I’ve ever had. The Draper cut steak was also fabulous and cooked perfectly. For sides we had the risotto (the only risotto I’ve ever liked) and broccolini, which was delicious and cooked perfectly. For desert we had the espresso Nutella brownie and ice cream, which was not overpowering with espresso at all. We actually ended up finishing it. We also had the key lime pie with vanilla bean whipped cream, and it was unique and very tasty. Will definitely be back!
