We enjoyed everything about the meal we had at Atelier Tony. The food was delicious, the wine and cocktails were excellent (the bartender even shared his recipe with us). It has a modern feel and great dinner music. We’ll certainly be going back again.

The Med Restaurant is one of Saint John's oldest restaurants, serving hungry guests since 1971.
Since then, the restaurant has gone through many changes and improvements along the way.
Chef Christos (second generation) and his team are proud to prepare Greek and continental dishes, using fresh and wholesome ingredients as well as the finest imported products (extra virgin olive oil, oregano, etc.) from Greece and creating everything from scratch. Our products are also sold in our store, Theo's Fine Foods, located in the same building, next to the Med.

We went for lunch. Restaurant was moderately loud, still able to converse over the volume. Food was okay. Sweet potato fries were cold on arrival - should have sent them back to the kitchen but we didn't. Waitress gave us complimentary appetizer for our next visit to compensate, Wait staff was very good and attentive.

The food was delicious. My only complaint is that this is considered to be a high end restaurant specializing in steak and seafood. We waited a considerable time (probably 45 minutes) for our meal which one would expect and I had no problem given there were four of us and it gave us a chance to have a drink and talk. However I would have thought that the table would be offered some complementary pre meal nibbles such as bread/rolls/breadsticks with butter or vinaigrette or the like. Nothing was offered and so I mentioned to our waiter after our food had arrived. He told me that they don’t offer because of the expense (?) and if they did then people may apt to order a lesser meal. Really? That seems cheap to me when the meal is probably going to cost $150-$200.
