Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.
Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards.
The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace.
The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available.
The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

Excellent meal with wife and daughter to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Very kind and professional service and food was delicious, subtle, authentic flavours and a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend. Not cheap but worth paying a bit extra for quality food, ambience and attentive service. Will be back soon. Thanks.

Wonderful birthday brunch on Sunday. Lots of families, friends and dogs in this warm, ambient atmosphere. Food was great! Pancake stack with apples and yogurt and full breakfast enjoyed by our party. Our well behaved dog was made to feel welcome with a couple of treats. We'll be back!
