We love this place for snacks, lunch or dinner at sunset! The food is outstanding and mostly made with ingredients created right at the distillery! Very friendly and family friendly! Loved the live entertainment and the view from the mountain at sunset. Would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting this island! We will definitely return next trip.

We received outstanding service from Dat, our waiter. Super attentive and informative. Garlic shrimp were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Really enjoyed the slaw that came with the dish. The poke salad that they made for us was excellent as well. This is a casual restaurant next to the pool at the Outrigger hotel, nothing fancy, which works well for us.

We went when had live music. The performer was good. Sorry I didn’t take notice of his name. We had a party of 6, and our waitress (I didn’t get her name either😩) was sooooooo awesome. She was very friendly, helpful and patient. When I got my food, I was dismayed to find sesame seeds in the panko mix. (I am allergic to sesame seeds.) when I tried to order something else, she asked “what was the problem?” So I told her that on the description of my dish there was no mention of sesame seeds that’s why I ordered it. I told her not to worry I could just take it for my son to eat. She immediately apologized asked me what I wanted to order. She insisted on making things right. I appreciated that. Our experience here was awesome.

About the restaurant
Piko is a local style hangout where you can sit back, relax and enjoy pau hana. In reference to its meaning, “the center where life begins,” Piko brings to life the food, lifestyle and aloha we know and love in Hawaii. Think shared plates of garlic noodles, mochiko chicken, dynamite fries and bao buns in a place you won’t want to leave.

Blistered Green Beans - Asked to have them plain for the kiddos since hey can't take any spice. Really great that they could accommodate. Kids ate them up! Okinawan Soba Noodles - They really should rename this item because they are not soba noodles. They are made with egg noodles and it's a garlic noodle. It does not mention in the ingredients that it is spicy so if you can't take spice, I would not suggest this one or maybe ask if they can remove it. However, it is very tasty, especially with the egg yolk mixed in. Goes well with a protein! Bao Buns - Decent but nothing to rave about. All the ingredients pair well together. The meat was a bit dry. Mochiko Chicken - Chicken was tender and tasty. The rice wasn't exactly furikake rice, but just a white rice with furikae sprinkled at the heap of it.
