We enjoyed an excellent dining experience at The West End Grill. The owner, Gordie, greeted us at the door and welcomed us to the restaurant in a very friendly manner. We were seated right away at a semi-private table which we very much appreciated. The waiter, Christopher, was exceptional in every way; friendly, polite and very helpful with menu suggestions when I asked his opinion between three different fish offerings. The timing between our appetizers, salad and entrees was perfect. We never felt rushed to finish one before the next serving arrived. All in all it was an excellent dining experience!

The Longest Standing Restaurant In Greektown, Detroit

Brothers Niko and Vasili Dionysopoulos came to America in the late 60’s. They started by selling produce to the Greek churches and then to the businesses in Greektown. They opened Apollo Market on Harper Ave in 1968 till 1970. Then they purchased the Golden Fleece on April 7th 1970. They worked ’till the late 2000’s. Their sons Spero and Yanni took over the family business and remodeled the building and concept after 50 years to continue to give Metro Detroit the authentic Greek experience and hospitality. Now they’re reopening the staple grocery and bakery next door bring the latest and finest Greek imports.

The Dionysopoulos family would like to thank all of you for these amazing 50 years and looking forward to the next 50!

Absolutely amazing spot on flavors. We visited Greece this past summer and have searching for a place that’s authentic. This is it! Quaint atmosphere, excellent friendly service ( Aileen is the best) and excellent food. This was the best date night we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back!

People go out to eat to get good food and have a nice time. TRIA excels here with an outstanding menu of excellent items plus the decor of the restaurant is beyond typical. You can't go wrong with the excellent seafood, a number of great appetizers, and a choice of three desserts, two of them quite unusual. The wine list is very substantial but it is easy to search using the indexed electronic menu. Tria is in The Henry hotel. Be sure to check out the great display of art work in a hall close to the check in area.

Our first time there and it was very enjoyable. Lived up to our expectations based on others comments and family members. Our server was Mike and he very attentive and very good at his job. I had the New York strip cooked medium delicious, very flavorful and the wife had salmon which she loved and they actually asked at. What temperature do you want your salmon cooked. The sides were elegant And tasty!. Was a good choice for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Highly recommend if you want fine dining.
