A vegetarian restaurant and wine club. Great people, service, menu and local wine tasting, all the menu items are made with local farm ingredients and local wines. One of the best experiences we’ve had over the years🍷😁

Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. Its fertile soil and Mediterranean climate translated into an abundance of fresh produce as well as treasured seafood and game. Legend tells that Kokkari is the site where Orion, a mighty hunter and a young man of gigantic stature and great beauty, fell in love with the daughter of the king of Chios. For the love of her, Orion forged the island for wild game and seafood to prepare elaborate banquets in celebration of their love. absolutely amazing food and ambience.. had the pork chop, the halibut, bread, greek salad and calamari.. absolutely delicious $150 no alcohol… highly recommend as one of the best restaurants in SF! i will be back

Very VERY GOOD…this was my first time and we started with the patatas bravas….(fried potatoes with a tomato element) excellent 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 we had the crispy chicken and gnocchi and pork entrees…..all very very good 👍🏼 followed by pans cotta …. Wonderful!! I’ll b back….the waiter was excellent and had such a nice demeanor, we really enjoyed the meal and atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For a restaurant that's been a mainstay in Marin for so long, amazing that it continues to offer a great dining experience. We shared the Fall beet salad, which was so terrific we were tempted to order seconds. The mussels and clams were perfect, and the serving portion was just right. Lamb burger was likewise great. Service was attentive without being overbearing. It remains a Marin institution.
