We had the filet of sole menieure and lamb chops. Both were phenomenal! The floating island dessert is also wonderful with a cordial aperitif or a glass of brut.

Fantastic Friday night dinner at Troquet on South. Truly one of the best fine dining restaurants in Boston as we enjoyed a terrific night. Chris, the owner, greeted us upon arrival and also suggested a great wine pairing when stopping by our table. The food was spectacular and the service provided by our server, Rick, was equally wonderful.

Owner Brian Piccini is proud of his award-winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. Duck leg confit was perfectly cooked. Lobster gnocchi was tender but had a bit too much acid for my taste. Arctic char was advertised as medium rare but ended up being medium (I did enjoy the fava beans.)
