Never disappoints! My friend and I always split a stack of specialty pancakes (the Chunky Monkey with banana, walnut, chocolate chunks is our go-to). I regularly order takeout from here if I didn’t make a reservation in advance—their turkey reuben and fried chicken waffles are my favorite. Today, I got the Meat Lovers omelette and it was fantastic—solid ratio of fillings to eggs.

Lively spot in Southie, with multiple sports screens, good beer, and yummy bites for brunch or lunch (maybe dinner too but we were there at noontime). My southern egg and maple sausage sandwich was a vast improvement over fast-food versions. My husband loved the short rib eggs Benedict. Both dishes were reasonably sized portions. We visited on a Saturday when it was busy and were glad we made a reservation!

Love it here — the menu is so different and varied. The Areis and Shwarma were both excellent, and the Nutella roselach is to die for. Probably skip the cocktail, although my friend enjoyed his very large draft beer (which was very hoppy, and therefore not for me).
