The Phoenix Steakhouse is located in an old historic building downtown Vernon BC, our Red Seal Chef is Charles Bonsan who has over 20 years of experience, his new menu has a beautiful focus on Seafood to complement a delicious selection of steaks.
Our happy hour is served Tue. to Sat. 3-5 pm
With our regular dinner menu starting at 3 pm,
Please note if you are looking for or require the main floor for MOBILITY issues please make a note when booking
We do our best to accommodate request for example a booth , we only have so many and we accommodate them in the order they come in.
We do not allow outside food or cakes.

Everything was delicious. Started with their homemade bread that was excellent. Caesar Salad was perfect. Ordered the Rib eye with the bone in, it was done perfectly, and finished it off with the Creme brûlée. Definitely recommend Derick's.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary at the Four Seasons and decided to dine at Sidecut for our celebration. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we arrived and they sat us in a cozy location and congratulated us. Our server was warm and welcoming. We had cocktails with a split Caesar salad to start. For dinner we each had steak and each ordered Foie gras. Unfortunately the Foie gras came out not properly cooked. Our server brought it back and delivered another set. I don’t eat this dish often but when it is cooked properly, it is amazing. This wasn’t. Since they had already made a second set, we thought it must be a fluke. We ate it as a topper for the steak but didn’t have the flavor or texture. She comped the dish which we appreciated. She also brought out an anniversary dessert with some port. We enjoyed our celebration and appreciated her effort to make our night special!

The Keg never disappoints. I generally sit in the bar area when going to this location, but this time I was with family so we sat in the dining room. Our service was exemplary. Patrick was fantastic. The food as always was wonderful... though I really need to go outside of my comfort zone and get something besides Steak and Lobster LOL.

Service was amazing… not too much, attentive just the right amount we needed. The food was HOT and we like it that way! Usually food is warm to luke warm but it was hot and delicious. All steaks cooked perfectly.
