I love this place! Feels like home. Lois! Patrick! Hanna! Always so friendly and accommodating. Lois is always friendly and overly helpful!!! So personable and passionate about her guests. Thank you everyone for making ny daughter’s 25th birthday the best! The birthday card was a nice touch! Food and staff are exceptional! Thank you again !

The Charcoal Steak House is an independent local steakhouse serving the Waterloo region community for over 65 years. Enjoy AAA Steaks, richly marbled wagyu, slow roasted prime rib, fresh seafood, mouth-watering pig tails, legendary smoked ribs and more. At lunch we feature an extensive menu with burgers, sandwiches, bowls and healthy salad choices.

Sundays are made for Brunch from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Our Martinis Bar with summer patio offers the full Steak House menu or light meals in a more casual setting. Enjoy appetizers, a full meal, 20 beers on tap and beautiful outdoor seating area in summer.

Excellent service and food, was surprised how busy a Thursday night was so took longer than usual to get our food but it was hot and delicious once it arrived, and our server was fantastic!

Our server - Alex - was fun, efficient and courteous. As always, we enjoyed the atmosphere and energy of the lounge. The salad, prime rib sliders and wine were all very much to our liking!
