Great food and service, very beautiful establishment that is more spacious than it seems at first. We did not have to wait long at all before we received our food. The portions were great and you can expect to have some leftovers to take home and enjoy later. Most importantly, as Muslims we were very happy to find this place as most of its menu is Halal. Places like this deserve support and make wonderful foods accessible to more people. Overall had a great time and the place is very much worth the visit.

My name is Burro. I love chef-inspired tacos, tequila drinks, good music (according to us), vegetarians, bourbon, graffiti, vegans, mood lighting, queso, AND YOU!!

Our kitchen is 100% nut and GLUTEN-FREE, and we are 100% serious about that.

For the "Liquid Diet" sort of crowd. Our bartenders are equally happy to whip you up a hand-crafted creation or a classic cocktail. If you just want a shot of tequila we're into that too.

Okay, that's enough chit-chat. Let's eat.

At Quetzal, we celebrate regional Mexican cuisine, inspired by traditional flavours and cooking styles, all cooked over a 28 foot-long open fire that runs the span of the hot line. Traditional moles, sauces and little-known native ingredients are transported to Toronto and infused with the bounty of local Ontario and Canadian produce, for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. The Mule is my fav restaurant in Hamilton. Everything is gluten free and I don’t have to worry about anything I order. Their queso dip is the very best! Dip dip dip Hurray my fav appetizer and the Knoxville Chicken Taco and the Brussels Sprout taco are my only orders. Disappointed the Lakeside Margarita is not on the list anymore but the Paloma Margarita is a very close second for me.

Stopped in before a concert at OLG Mike was our server, awesome guy, fast & friendly. Fish tacos amazing, had the flight of margs, yum! & sangria fab as well

As authentic as Mexican food gets and not a Guac in sight. The Rockfish Ceviche and the Shrimp Aguachile were bursting with flavour and simply outstanding. Our server took care to explain the menu and made some great recommendations overall. I also highly recommend the Mole Rojo, simply melt in your mouth chicken. The cocktails and mocktails were equally inventive. If you want Mexican food that is not run of the mill, go here!
