The meal was outstanding and very delicious! Always enjoy have a great meal here with family and friends. The service can not be beat. They are all friendly and professional. They know their regulars by name. The are also kid friendly which is a plus for families. Will be back soon

Very quiet cozy Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village. Wide range of choices and specials offered. Caesar salad was excellent and my Veal Marsala could have been more tender. Overall good experience and will return next time we are in the neighbors

The food was creative and excellent. The fennel salad we had as appetizer was really good. The homemade pasta as “primo piatto” is always a winner for us. The calves liver as main course were tender and tasty, and the Sardinian wine enhanced the enjoyment of the courses. The dessert of pastry filled with goat cheese and a drip of honey made for a happy ending to the whole experience.

The kitchen is dominated by a giant brick oven where the staff cooks up all of its incredible pizzas.Il Colosseo begins its menu with antipasti like fried calamari for two, baked clams, sautéed octopus, sautéed broccoli rabe and a pasta e fagioli soup with white kidney beans and fusilli noodles in a light tomato broth. Some of the various entrées diners can sample are a chicken Francese, spicy shrimp fra diavolo, veal piccata, pasta bolognese and the Frank Sinatra pasta made with black olives, clams, mussels and shrimp in a garlic and white wine sauce.

I ate here last night and last week and couldn’t be happier that we now have a Ruby’s in Williamsburg. I really love the vibe of this location, especially the back room. The food was delicious, as always at any Ruby’s. The classic cheeseburger, Brussels’ sprouts, and fries with truffle aioli are classics for me and always a hit. We also loved the crispy rice bowl and the spicy vodka pasta. It was my first time trying the calamari which was tasty, especially the dipping sauce, but the portion was a little on the smaller side. Another highlight about this location is that it has two bars that you can sit at. The cocktails were great: I loved both the That Cucumber Drink and the Yuzu Jalapeño Margarita. Can’t wait to come back (often). Thank you!
