SABOR Restaurant provides a rustic yet elegant atmosphere and a menu rich in European tradition—Portuguese, Spanish, French & Italian—in the heart of Downtown and the ICE District.

OceanWise certified, we offer Edmonton’s best, most-sustainable seafood menu as well as a meat & vegetarian options.

Professional staff, a trim but superlative wine list, hand-crafted cocktails, and SABOR’s menu & atmosphere make it the perfect spot—be it in evening wear before the opera, a suit before the big meeting, or in jeans hanging out with friends.

Made in house cakes are available upon request. Requests must be made 48 hours in advance, and can only be made via phone (780-757-1114). We do not allow outside cakes to be brought into the restaurant.

BODEGA Tapas Bar is a casual setting seated on a walk-in basis only. A great stop before or after a movie or show at one of the nearby theaters, BODEGA serves authentic tapas, our signature Sangria, and superb wine & cocktails.

    Second time coming here for a special occasion. Amazing food. Ordered 4 appetizers to share, mains for each person and an array of desserts and everything was absolutely outstanding in quality and taste. I had the sablefish (black cod), met in your mouth. If you love seafood and fresh food, i recommend this place.

    Good atmosphere and was very busy for a Tuesday. Service was excellent. Food was served hot.. much appreciated. We had a table of 4 who all ordered differently. Bread - outstanding, ricotta stuffed peppers- outstanding, mussels and clams - very good, soup, creme de marisco- not a fan blended with bland flavor and sniff of seafood chunks, lobster risotto- good, rack of lamb- excellent, three boars- excellent, halibut and prawns- a little over cooked, but tasty. All items served were generous portions. We were very full, but still ordered cherry cheesecake and tart.... well enjoyed. Cocktails were excellent. I would recommend the Spanish coffee, as well. Superb.

    The ambiance is excellent , the food amazing and the service was incredible . You need to have dinner here what a wonderful meal and the owner and staff were amazing . Coming back again . Do yourself a favour book Sabor restaurant it’s incredible !!!!

    Went for anniversary. Food was amazing! Presentation and quality were excellent. Great service. Very helpful in choosing a wine for dinner as we wanted to stick with Spanish/Portuguese wine and were very unfamiliar. Helped pick a great wine that went well with multiple courses.

    The food is always fantastic as is the service. First time being seated on the backside and it was nice but not as intimate as it seems near the bar side, especially if you are only two. But a great night out none the less. Our favourite dining spot in Edmonton

    Had the seafood paella & gnocchi as mains. Both were a little heavy with salt. Piri piri prawns & scallops were the starters. Both were good; the scallops were small especially for the price and could have been cooked just a little longer. The cucumber salsa they rested on was very tasty. Tiramisu & creme brulee for dessert. Probably the highlight of the meal. Would like to return for the lobster risotto but afraid it would be over salted too. And I wouldn't want to shell out that much money only to be underwhelmed.

    Thank you to Matthew for making our first experience to Sabor a memorable one. Ken and I enjoyed the food it was well balanced in flavour, hot to the table and the seafood fabulously fresh. The ambience is cozy and comfortable. We look forward to visiting in the near future.

    The food and service at Sabor was excellent as usual! We were glad to introduce a friend to this restaurant especially to the seafood dishes. Our one complaint was that tables were too close to the next customer table and therefore we found the noise level (conversations and chatter) too loud so it was difficult to hear and enjoy the conversation at our table. We will however go back to Sabor for supper as a treat on special occasions. Thank you again to the excellent food and service!

    We did the 3 course meal for two people and every bite was incredible. Service was excellent- timely, with great recommendations including a cocktail crafted by our server. Very cool atmosphere, really enjoyed our meal here!

    I came here for my anniversary dinner and everything was amazing. Me and my partner got the assorted bread with butter and truffle butter, the spinach empanadillas, the vegetarian gnocchi and the seafood paella and everything was beyond delicious. The paella is a huge portion for the price and had so much fresh tasting seafood. At the end we got espressos with whipped cream and they were delicious! Our waitress was so wonderful and very knowledgeable, and they even gave us a little happy anniversary card, which I thought was so cute. 10/10 visit, will definitely recommend.

    Dinner was fantastic highly recommend the 3 course family dinner. Everything was cook to perfection. Our waiter Joshua was amazing, gave excellent recommendations and was a delight. We enjoy our whole evening.

    It was our celebratory time as each of us have a birthday and anniversary close together. Sabor had a card waiting for us and I mentioned it was our anniversary. Mike was our waiter and he explained the menu and the chef’s dinner that night. We started with a drink beforehand and settled into our dining experience. Mike’s recommendation for pairing the wine was excellent. Three delicious appetizers, salmon, halibut and lobster risotto for the main and three desserts. It was a dining experience! Thank you to the staff at Sabor!

    We had a marvellous dinner 🍽️ with good wine 🍷. Our server was outstanding. We were transported to Portugal for a time. Would highly recommend as a great special celebration venue.

    My experience with Sabor was different from a couple years ago. Their service is still really good, however the food is way too salty, over seasoned. Drank lots of water the whole night. We spoke to the waitress and she replaced our mussels dish… and we also received an uncooked/medium rare pork chop in our meat platter. Overall, not as great as it was before… probably won’t go back.
