Wine service was odd, and unlike any restaurant wine service encountered anywhere in the USA. We had one vegetarian order get the meat order soup.

Having dinner at the Sage Bistro was such a treat, the atmosphere is relaxing, I loved the soft jazz music playing in the background our dining experience. I enjoy a nice glass of wine with dinner and the selections were exactly right, my friend enjoyed the beer selections as well. My friend and I had the tasting menu and we were not disappointed by any of the dishes. I had the vegetarian selection and found every dish with exciting components that melded so well together, flavors all superbly complementary to one another. Nothing boring about vegetarian at Sage Bistro for certain. All the courses left each of us excited for what was coming next! We will be back! And this was truly fine dining at a reasonable price, not cheap by any means, simply an excellent value for the price paid.

I brought my wife and her friends for her birthday and it was a wonderful experience that I recommend to anyone wanting a pre-fixe menu with several delish courses without breaking the bank for it. It was a tasty 3 hour experience that I would recommend to anyone looking to take their food seriously.

It was a wonderful experience, I took my wife there for her birthday and it really made it special. A woman named Tatum stopped by our table, she had wonderful customer service skills.

This place is always on par!!!! Great food, always something new and different. This time they offered a "wine pairing" for each course at$15 extra. Was a nice added extra. If you haven't been, you don't know what you are missing. Plenty of not so good places to eat in Omaha and this is not one of them!!!!

Sage Bistro is a fun fine dining experience. We did a prix fix menu and like most of the entrees. The desserts were the best. Our server was very nice, but struggled to open the wine bottles. We enjoyed having the students described the food. I would go back.

We had not been to a dinner in awhile and it was as great as every other meal we have eaten here. Our server, Colin, did a fine job and was very personable. Prixe fiiex was a great value.

In the same week I dined at Sage Bistro twice, once for lunch (already reviewed) and once for dinner. For dinner my party of 5 each had the prix fixe dinner. I can't remembering enjoying a dining experience more. All the food was interesting and delicious and beautifully served. The atmosphere was perfect for a night out with friends with soft music in the background, but quiet enough for us to visit. The servers were not able to answer all our questions about the menu items, but they immediately found someone who could. Some of us had the wine pairings with each course, some had wine by the glass. Wines were very good. The pace of the meal was great. The desserts were imaginative and tasted so good.

This was a lovely experience start to finish. Each course was excellent. It was welcoming and comfortable while still providing a fine dining experience. The night our party went an homage to the chef Dan Barber was presented. Our table would have liked maybe a little more information about why he was the inspiration and any knowledge about him would have been appreciated. Everyone we interacted with from host, to server, to pastry chef and chefs was enjoyable. The wine pairings were perfect too.

This is my third visit, and it was a substantially different experience than before. Although the workers were very attentive, they knew little about what they were serving. They provided lots of little extras, which was nice, but the food was mediocre, which was really a surprise, given my previous experiences. And the $160 bill for 2 people ($50 pp, $8 for dessert, wine and tip), was no bargain, not that it should be. None the less, it will certainly cause me to go to other places in the future.

The Bistro is a bright and cheerful place to eat and sample some of the upcoming chefs of the world's cooking. Great menu selection and very reasonably priced. We highly recommend!

Our group of four had so much fun tasting all the delicious food. We shared bites of each other's choices because everything looked so great. The menu was intriguing. This was an adventure in eating and we highly recommend it. Sorry I can't mention individual items. Most the names were unusual to us.

We'd meant to get back to The Sage for a long time... since before Covid... but of course it fell off the radar. As I was thinking of where to walk on a lovely spring day, Fort Omaha popped into my brain, and with it The Sage. I googled it and got the last lunch booking for that day. It was even better than I remembered: Lots of variety and healthy choices for vegetarians and pescatarians. A truly non-boring menu! It's a great value that feels like a special occasion. I can't wait to get back!

Hard to get a reservation so when I did I was so excited to go with some friends. Did the prix fix menu. All so good! Plated beautifully and the flavor combinations were spot on! Also ordered to share the charcuterie board that was a favorite. So many condiments that paired well with the blue cheese. I would order that again today! Desserts good not too rich or filling which was good after all those courses. I will definitely go back soon!

This was the first time for lunch at Sage Bistro and we enjoyed the experience. Food, service and attention to detail stand out. From the moment we were greeted to the entire meal experience it was relaxing, and enjoyable. The food presentation was beautiful. The food itself was outstanding and it is fun to try a variety of menu offerings.

This is my second visit within about 3 weeks for the 2023 Winter program. I have eaten here several times pre-Covid. Yesterday, I sampled a different dish--the pork, and nibbled off my companion's plates--pomme frites and another small cubed peppery potato dish that was really delicious. I had eaten the caulifower bowl last time. My friends ordered the chicken crepes. This was a first time visit for my companions who never knew of its (Sage Bistro) existence.Both noted they will return. Bon appetite!
