Located at the top of the Ossington strip, Salt wine bar offers a modern progressive approach to Iberian/Canadian tapas. Salt is a bustling, cozy, communal tapas bar with great energy. Our guests enjoy artisanal cheeses, Iberian charcuterie and an excellent variety of small plate dishes. Chef Dave Kemp is strongly committed to using seasonal and local products whenever possible. Our cellar contains an extensive list of Portuguese and Spanish wines which complement each and every dish.

We made reservations for the patio which was horrible - completely impersonal, just sitting between concrete barriers. When we moved inside it was wonderful. We saw multiple other people doing the same (starting outdoors but moving in). Luckily it was a slow Tuesday night so plenty of seats indoors. Everything else was great!

Food was simply amazing ang served in a timely manner. Paella and grilled octopus was to die for but the burrata tostada was our dinner fave. Would defs go back.

Amazing. Salt staff accomodate our large group at short notice. they were great in suggesting dishes and quantities. The wine and food were all delish. The service was amazing for a large group. Thank you for making our evening so fun and memorable.

I had the paella and it was fairly average. I understand it’s a wine bar but I was there with a friend who didn’t drink and there wasn’t really any non alcoholic options. Wouldn’t go again

Great service, amazing wine selection and the tapas were delicious. I’d suggest Salt to everyone who is looking for a relaxed atmosphere to chill and chat.

Great little restaurant that serves delicious food. Nice size portions for tapas, but cocktails are quite pricey. The food came out at a nice pace which allowed us to really taste and enjoy each dish on its own. I will definitely return and look forward to trying different dishes. One thing I don’t understand is that they say they can only accommodate up to 6 people/party. However the restaurant is not that small.
