Winemaker Robert Schermeister and his wife Laura host all guests and their dog Eli greets everyone at the door. Our limited-production wines are native fermented, unfiltered, and sustainably farmed with big aroma and flavor. If you're looking for special wines that can't be found anywhere else, then you're in the right place!
Winemaker tastings at our cozy creekside tasting room are $35 per person and complimentary for members. Make it a culinary pairing with optional small bites for an additional $15 per person ($10 for members).
Please allow 60-90 minutes for a casual yet engaging experience with a focus on how our wines are made. Well-behaved children are welcome, as are pets on the patio.
Outside food is not permitted. We ask that you give us at least 24 hours' notice if you can't make it to your reservation and to call if you're running late.

A family-owned winery producing fresh, bright and unique wines from Napa and Sonoma. Specializing in unique and esoteric varietals and styles including Chenin Blanc, Malvasia Bianca, Muscat and Riesling all made in a lean, crisp, and dry style. In addition, LOLA produces excellent Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The LOLA House, built in 1892, is a quaint and historical home in Calistoga, where the LOLA team engages visitors with their passions for grape growing, winemaking, food and art. The charming, genuine and fun tastings are held in the lush, outdoor garden patios surrounding the house.
Fun fact - LOLA Founder/Winemaker Seth Cripe is also one of the world's only producers of Bottarga, a type of caviar made from salt-cured and dried grey mullet roe. This rare and revered delicacy is the featured as an add on food pairing at the LOLA tasting room. A pairing unlike any you'll find in the world!

    I always enjoy dining at Left Bank, and this evening was no exception. Upon receiving my order (steak frites, medium-rare), I looked down and saw that it was significantly overcooked - very much well-done. However, these things happen from time to time, and I wasn't going to complain, just look forward to my next visit, during which I was certain my meal would be cooked as ordered, as it always has been. However, a moment after my meal had been set down, Andrea approached and said she heard that my steak had been overcooked. Our waitress had noticed the error and upon alerting Andrea, she immediately came over to apologize and make it right. With my thanks, she whisked away the steak and left the frites for me to nibble on while I waited a few minutes for the medium-rare steak. When she returned, she bore not only the steak, but an additional order of fries - and to top it all off, comped the item. Outstanding service and delicious food - will keep me coming back!
