Savor, Niagara Falls Culinary Institute's fine dining restaurant, provides a real-world hands-on learning experience for students enrolled in the Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, Brewing and Distillery Operations, Viticulture and Hospitality programs. Savor features an open kitchen where chefs and students are on display to showcase their talents to the guests.
Product used in the restaurant are purchased from nearby farmers to help support the local economy and showcase the great home-grown produce of Niagara County. Savor's menu changes with the four seasons to give student chefs opportunities to work with and sell the freshest ingredients.

Savor is located on the 1st floor of Niagara Falls Culinary Institute, 28 Old Falls Street. Parking is located in the municipal ramp adjacent to the building. Park at the very back on the 3rd level, enter the building through door labeled NFCI, take the elevator to the 1st floor. We will stamp your ticket for a discounted $5.00 parking fee.

The scallop pizza toppings were not spread evenly, but rather towered in the center. The taste was below par. The portion size for sandwiches were way too large to “savor” the plate. Server skills were okay with the basics, but not anything memorable. Excellent wine glasses, but unimaginative cocktail options. Expected much better at an establishment like this.

Our greeter and server was Mathew. Very professional Large portion of beet salad which was outstanding. We had scallops over Swiss chard and sesame seared tuna. Both were excellent. The presentation is charming. Blondie for dessert ended a perfect meal. Highly recommend

We ordered the polenta appetizer and couldn’t eat it because it was so salty. Then we ordered the scallops and found them to be good but the Swiss chard that it came with spicy and under cooked. The waiter was very professional and attentive. He did take the polenta off the bill.

I highly recommend this restaurant. My husband and I shared the scallop pizza and it was wonderful. My daughter had the mushroom and summer squash pasta. Super fresh ingredients! Great price for quality food!

Enjoyed our meal, server was very friendly and helpful

Food was very good, little tweaks we recommended to server (like more vanilla Gelato on the blondie)

Nice covered area to sit outside on a summer evening; we were people watching but if you would not want people walking by you on the sidewalk, simply request one of the indoor seating options

There were a series of missteps including two poorly cooked steaks that were only moderately improved upon a second pass. The food wasn’t anything special, and the salad was lacking something I couldn’t quite place. It wasn’t a bad experience, but definitely not the finer dining experience I was anticipating.

It felt awkward and off balance for lack of a better phrase. The staff tried, though, and we didn’t feel neglected.

My bacon zucchini pizza came without bacon.. it was average in taste. My salad was overpowered with onion and drown in salad dressing. The server made multiple simple mistakes and spilled multiple things, he seemed new and nervous. The dining area was nice and presented as fine dining but the food and service just didn’t match. The cost of food for the serving size was good. I would not return to this restaurant but for the area there was limited selection.

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday, the person who seated us was very polite. Our waiter Jon came and asked what drinks we wanted. We said we didnt want any alcohol and he acted shocked and kept asking if we were sure. We then ordered a pizza and two steaks. We waited 20+ minutes and the man who seated us came to apologize that our pizza wasnt out yet and said it would be on the house. We get our pizza and eat a few pieces, expecting our main courses to be out soon... 20+ minutes later our waiter came back and asked if we were ready for our main course. We said yes, waited another 30+ minutes and our steaks finally came. My girlfriends steak was cold and of very poor quality. The whole time, Jon the waiter never gave us drink refills, the man that seated us did. We felt very discriminated against and they ended up giving us a free meal. We were in this restaurant for almost 3 hours just waiting to eat. Our waiter was constantly tending to his other tables. There was a table of 5 and a table of 6 who each came in well after us and recieved their meals way before we did. I'm a food service employee and I understand things happen but there was no excuse for the treatment and service we recieved here besides being discriminated against. We felt as though we were ignored and this restaurant didnt want to serve us. I will NEVER recommend this place to anybody. If you want an awesome meal and friendly service, go to the red coach inn, they have DELICIOUS food and desserts there.

I took my 6-yr-old son here on our trip to Niagara Falls setting, server Matthew, food selection, & kids' menu. I had the scallops with orzo & it was delicious!

Very pleased with our experience, dinner, drink and service at Savor. Wasn’t sure going in how the 6 of us would like this experience.It was a smash hit! The Ahi tuna was amazing, the chicken and steak menu items were also awesome. We had fugatto and espresso to top of the excellent meal. Would definitely recommend Savor. The students do a fantastic job. Good for larger groups but would suggest reservations. Way to go restaurant professionals!!

When we arrived we ordered our cocktail. Honoring to relax and enjoy it our appetizers was delivered and before we finished that our main course was delivered. We still hadn’t even finished our cocktail. I felt very rushed.

My family and I had a fabulous dining experience! We were celebrating my parent’s anniversary and couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable atmosphere. Kyle took exceptional care of us and was just outstanding! The menu offered something for everyone, including my three young nephews. I had the scallops; they were delicious and beautifully prepared. We look forward to a return visit soon!

We were seated right away, the servers were very attentive and our food came out pretty quickly and very deliciously.
The value is pretty good, and it’s fun to see into the kitchen a bit.
Wish the drink menu had had a few more options and there were more veggies to choose from. Definitely would go back next time we’re in Niagara though.

Went of a quiet Saturday. Had the restaurant to ourselves for a while until more customers came in.

Food was nicely prepared with some expected culinary school "twists".

Really liked it. Would come back again.

The atmosphere was very nice and low key. Service was pleasant and accommodating. Menu is somewhat limited, although I had seen it online so was not really surprised, although I had thought there might have been specials offered. The tomato bisque soup was the best I had ever had! Presentation was attractive. I'm not sure if the brick oven pizzas were available on that day, but it was not shown on the menu there although I had seen it online. It was not mentioned to us that it was available, after we ordered my husband mentioned he saw the oven and wondered if it was available. Overall the experience was a very positive one!

Food, service was of exceptional quality, shrimp cocktail were large and satisfied appetite, as were oysters Rockefeller, 3 cheese, shallots, mushrooms, dried tomato pizzas were outstanding. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive to us. A+ for him.

We have been going to Savor for over 5 years. The food is always outstanding and the service impeccable. It is a hidden gem in the Falls. Our most recent server - Matthew was incredible.

Savor was a great experience. The service was outstanding even though our server was not a culinary student. The dishes were excellent and came out at a pace where we could enjoy our dinner and some conversation in between (we ordered an appetizer to share, separate entrees, and separate desserts). The wine was made locally where student observed the process and we really enjoyed that as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very comforting but very classy. I loved that they had a large table overlooking the kitchen area for families or large groups to enjoy. We will definitely be back!!

I would not recommend savor at all ...food was overpriced and mediocre at best . What kind of culinary institute uses frozen french fries ? At home I even use fresh cut fries ....there were 4 of us none of us liked the food....service was very good but crappy food

This was a good novalty find. It was quiet without pretentious airs. The menu items we ordered were very good & well put together. I wish we were offered or able to sit where we could view the kitchen & watch them prepare. I love the idea of what Savor stays for but I feel like it could be more interactive for foodie without much effort. In all, we would definitely return.

Only trouble was finding Savor. It’s actually located within the Culinary school. Once we got in, we were greeted promptly, seated immediately, and then served completely. The food was amazing and the portions were generous.
